If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

If there was any demographic that had to die immediately, or else the world would blow up, I would have no trouble picking which one would go.

Whitest group ever.

I always found it kinda funny how "white" became the new "nigger" when it came to insult someone's intelligence.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

It carries connotations of lameness more than stupidity.

Schelling also introduced the concept of recapitulation or "self-organization" that achieves a naturephilosophical treatment of recapitulation which is a successive unconditioning of the concept of recapitulation as regards the unit of recapitulation, which, rather than being located in a particular body, whether an atom, a chemical compound, an organism, or a planet, is itself the dynamic process of the self-construction of matter

Why is it okay to become very obsessive over sports, but nothing else?

(This has boggled my mind for ages now)

I shouldn't have said "insanely", now that I think about it.

Sports is mainstream, if it's mainstream, it's okay. Everyone does it after all.

Having friends who are a moderate presence on the metal scene is weird - you leave a comment on one of his statuses, and then you get a notification saying the guitarist from Xerath just commented on it as well ._.

@Nyarly: One of many theories.

Also, this is a good remix of the theme to a game I've never played.

Myr: Speaking of which, Critiques of Libertarianism is my new favorite site. It sums up pretty much everything that's ever bugged me about libertarianism, anarcho-capitalism and so on, and I'm surprised I hadn't found it sooner.

Myrmidon's posts give me so many reasons to never look into philosophy.

It's not that I disagree with the sentiment, it's just that I see no need to get so pointlessly technical with undefined terms.
