If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I just had a subverted FFFFFUUUU—

  1. Cram overnight, binding a hand-written book of own poetry
  2. Finish book
  3. Marvel at its scribal beauty
  4. Read assignment sheet, find out that that the book must be typed
  5. FFFFFFUUUUUUUU—
  6. Notice that the "typed" requirement is not on the rubric.
  7. Breathe sigh of relief
  8. Draw pictures of boats

That's more of an "Everything went better than expected" moment than anything.

It's only one folio (and said folio is not completely filled), and the cover is construction paper but still, I more or less observed the process in which publishers bind/bound books.

The title page reads:

I am not a Poet

A collection of poetic works by Anne Beeche

in a handmade folio by the same author

EDIT: Scan of one of the pages

Titles in Japanese/Chinese (I'm not sure which)? Any reason why?

The Japanese says "Tanka" which is the name of the style of poem.

A tanka is like a haiku, but with two additional lines of 7 and 7 at the end.

I'm very much amused that Paradox released Divine Wind and Sega released Shogun II Total War within months of each other. And that both series present different approaches to wargaming.

Bah.

Do tell me when Paradox and Type-Moon make two major releases together. Then maybe I'll have reason to hope.

I have never given it much thought before, but it occurred to me that the German language is kind of insulting towards nipples. They are called "breast warts" there.

Well, you know, it could be easily misinterpreted, grog.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

Attempting to take a two-hour power nap after cramming on my project was an extremely terrible idea.

I slept straight through my alarm, and now I'm effectively three hours late for school. Will they even let me come in this late?

I think that by now, so many of Capcom's vital employees have abandoned the company that they're basically Running the Asylum by now, and most of their more important talents are already working with studios like Platinum Games now.
