Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

He did. He basically dictated what SF looked like for years, as I understand it, which implicates him as at least partially responsible for the Sci-Fi Ghetto.
At least New Wave is cool. I should also write an article on that. New Wave
Edit: FUCKING MUSIC GRAGH
Random thought: I think that His Masters Voice is one of my favorite novels. I don't know how that happened.

Efficiency is a criterion for musical taste, now?
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.- Type their name into Youtube.
- Listen to the songs that come up, in no particular order.
- Do that until I feel I can reach a decision
- If the answer is "Yes", figure out which of their albums I should listen to.
- If the answer is "No", do nothing.
Works great for me!
Well, unless it's something too obscure for Youtube. >_>
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.YouTube is like the radio, it seems.
Except mother almost always listens to the sports station so I don't get to hear much of what's apparently popular now.
The funniest song I've heard in years can't be found in full anywhere online except Pandora...
It's like radio if all it took to start a pirate radio station was a receiver.

^^ [Insert Glee joke here]

Heapers’ HangoutNow I am thinking of that "radio free albemuth" thing.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.^^^ Oh.
^ I don't know what albemuth is but I'm instinctively associating it with bismuth. Which, knowing my instincts, is probably wrong.
ERROR: The current state of the world is unacceptable. Save anyway? YES/NOTo be honest, I don't know. I don't think that anybody does.
It's something I thought up a few months ago based on the book.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Pretty sure that's a Philip K Dick novel.
and.....yeah

no one will notice that I changed this

Sometimes I get the feeling that Campbell inspired a lot of scifi that way. :/
I should write an article on Analog/Astounding Science Fiction/several other names...
