Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Seriously, though, worms have been today's theme for me. Ever since 5 am this morning when my cat left tapeworm meat on my mom's blankets.

I have a lot of different things that I want to refer to as "a thing", but I need to categorize them somehow. And the categories need to be vague. Also just "a thing" will be used for the original things I've referred to as "a thing" since those are most prevalent.

...random crap that only makes sense in my head, but I'm still kind of working on that whole waking up thing here (does that count as a "thing" caegory? Probably not. I use the word "thing" too much.)

Why are people so damn vague when they ask for an object? "A thing" and "that thing over there" makes no sense. There are a lot of things, and more over, things over somewhere. BE SPECIFIC.

I don't really know. For me it's a habit. There are times when I just can't think of any other way to describe things though.

Why aren't there more non comedy-oriented western animation shows? Surely the popularity of anime proves that there's a market for it.

Are you not entertained?

You have a good point. There's Avatar The Last Airbender and Danny Phantom. Those aren't as comedy-based as most cartoons. As for serious plots? It seems most people think kids don't like serious plots. And as we all know, cartoons are for kids.

Honestly, though, I don't really understand it either, Sapphire.

I agree with Sapphire Flame. I actually had started conceptualising a Space Opera animated series based on Romance Of The Three Kingdoms. Didn't get far since I wanted to actually read the thing before I started writing anything.

I'd look into some of the Mech Warrior books if you where still interested in continuing.

This sounds interesting...

Mine had fewer mechs and more SPACE MAGIC, though. Though, there were mechs. They just didn't play a huge role.

I custom designed my own Mech for the RPG using the transformation rules (the ones they made before they had to stop ripping off Macross ). It was pretty broken.

I also still have a poorly constructed deck from the CCG somewhere.
