Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

What is the origin of that "talent" meme, anyway?
I MUST KNOW THE ORIGIN OF EVERY MEME
Heapers’ Hangout^ There's an episode of Sailor Moon in which the girls want to be...gah, I don't remember. Juliet? Something like that. In any case, they were all trying out for the same role, and arguing about who should get the part. Jupiter says she should get it because she has the biggest rack, which censors in America changed to having the most "talent" while leaving her still clearly gesturing at her breasts.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. When Sailor Moon was localized, they dubbed a scene where a character claimed that she should do something because of her breast size so that in the English version, she just said that she had the most "talent". But they kept in the way the scene worked, so it just makes "talent" seem like a silly euphemism for "boobs".
I have never seen Sailor Moon.

Well, a lot of people here seem like straw romantics, straw Eragon-haters, and straw humanists.
^ Practical in that Time spent thinking perverted thoughts and thus gaining happiness is time that could be spent on Tv tropes, and thus gaining happiness.
I only have one room for an addicting, messed up, object of fantasy that produces happy thoughts, and that's Tv Tropes.

Never be without a Hat! Hot means heat. I don't care if your usage dates to 1300, it's my word, not yours. My Pm box is open.I didn't know that anybody cared about humanism enough to strawman it.

Hm.... 1*0=1 and 0*1=0 would be part of the negation of the material conditional, actually.
