Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Netflix Devil May Cry is... about what I expected judging from people's reactions. This is why the only Netflix adaptation of anything I will ever watch is One Piece.
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Croc: Legend of the Gobbos HDI kinda wanna see the Netflix DMC more and more, the more I see people going on about it ;-;"
What little I've seen (through trailers) it looks pretty cool, but then, I've never played any DMC game so I can't make comparisons~
I only played the first three. ^_^;; I still have my friend Max to thank for making me a fan of them. :) ![]()
It did have a very cool one-liner. ;)
Arius: I should have been king!
Dante: Oh yeah? Well here’s your crown. (gunshot)
I like Sleep Kirby better when it's strictly a Joke Ability that only really serves to make Kirby sleep. It actually doing something beneficial, I don't know that I'm feeling it.
Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.Now and then I wonder how confused the first people to have twins (or triplets, quadruplets, etc) must've been.
"There's another one?!"
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.
IIRC, the first woman that had quints only thought she was was having twins, and ended up fainting from the shock of having 5 babies.
Also, how is Wikipedia banned from Florida school laptops for having forums, yet TV Tropes isn't?! Not saying I want it to be banned, but I just found it weird.
“Now get out there and make someone smile!”![]()
My school district blocked TV Tropes, which I found kinda amusing because I was citing a trope page for an assignment one year (if you're curious, it was the Our Alebrijes Are Different page, since I was doing an assignment about Pedro Linares Lopez for Spanish class).
My school district blocked all kinds of random shit, though. Once it blocked a website we were supposed to use to complete an assignment.

Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.On my way home from the mall, I heard the classic rock & roll song "School's Out" on the radio, and it made me think of a funny paradox.
Oh, I get it. When Alice Cooper sings about school getting "blown to pieces," everybody thinks it's cool. When Bill Watterson illustrates Calvin fantasizing about blowing his school to pieces, he gets a bunch of mad letters.
In the university where I studied, we didn't even have a dedicated Internet café nearby, so if I wanted to consult something I had to walk all the way from the science buildings to the Humanities ones, specifically the Agriculture one since its Internet room was the easiest to locate. And of course, due to the huge distance, it was impractical for me to go there for academic purposes, as the amount of walk would suck away much of my free time between classes. I think the only three exceptions were when I was looking for information about how to solve the harmonic oscillation equations in 2007, when I looked for information about secular and transient equlibria in radioactive processes in 2008, and the last time in 2009 when I was looking for info about charge carriers in semiconductors; so I only went there when we wouldn't have classes due to a professor's absence to check news about the ongoing stuff from Venezuelan politics, video games (back then it was the Wii/DS years) and anime.
135 -> 180 -> 273 -> 191 -> 188 -> 230 -> 300 -> 311Duly noted.
I’m still a firm believer in the traditional rule that politics is one of the three subjects you’re not supposed to talk about with other people.
The other two being religion and the Great Pumpkin.
I'm starting to hate the Switch 2 thread. Mostly because they are so pessimistic, which considering the stuff about the price, might be warranted but it didn't need to be that pessimistic, especially since the power of change can happen.
Edit: future me here. Sorry about this, I understand their mindset and I don't wanna really shame them but I'm just tired of pessimism. Again sorry.

It does not make sense to put Kyle on the block, especially considering how you're BOTH superfans, but whatever.
Well if it isn't my favorite human ..!
