Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I like to have those when I go to the House on the Rock. ![]()
Logged too late today (and by that I mean January 7th, I don't think I've arrived before the 6th ended), and I promised myself to continue editing a game page to crosswick more examples. My justification, if it's of any help, is that I was busy today and in my free time I had a stroll and then played extensively Doom 3 (I've reached the monorail transport and reached a new area, but my God is it infested by enemies...). Next time I'll play Nier Automata, as it's about time to find out what lies ahead in the northern forest!
135 -> 180 -> 273 -> 191 -> 188 -> 230 -> 300 -> 311I’m glad I have a short shift today; my allergies are acting up again. x_x
Either way, I'm on board! There's a pizza place where I live that has a nacho pizza. It's pretty good, though warm guacamole is... odd.
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.I tried out the website "I Write Like"
and copy-pasted some things I did. I copy-pasted different things into it and got different results. Here are the results:
- A Trope Pantheons entry that I had written in September of last year, about a character from the webcomic Girl Genius, is apparently written in the style of Agatha Christie. ([1]
)
- An entry from my private journal, where I talked about a history book about religion I read (Tom Holland's Dominion), is apparently written like Edgar Allan Poe. ([2]
)
- An article on my anonymous blog (which I don't think I'm ready to link to yet), where I talked about ancient Rome, is apparently written like Kurt Vonnegut. ([3]
)
- Lastly, a MB Proposal on the "Magnificent Baddie Wiki"
(an offsite equivalent to Magnificent Bastard) written last month, about another, different Girl Genius character, is apparently written in the style of Cory Doctorow. ([4]
)
*pastes some of my original work into that site* ... JK Rowling? ... Not the association I was hoping for. What if I paste the later chapters — Dan Brown? I can't decide whether that's better or worse. maybe i just can't stand mainstream creators in general
I just found something nice for both my fellow Pokémon fans and for my fellow fashion lovers. Behold.

Lately I've been unhappy with my TRS contributions. I feel like I'm not getting tropes or the site. Thinking about taking a break but I can't really get away from this site.

Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallStop me if I said this already. ^_^;; Ahh, it feels great to get back into the swing of writing.
Especially now that the holiday season is over. ![]()
I got Arthur C. Clarke when I copy-pasted one of the Religion examples from Journey to the Sky there.
Lmao what happened to all of us being David Foster Wallace? That was everyone's result last time we tried that bot.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall
