I really hated MAD, Its just a softer Robot Chicken. That Spy vs Spy bit was an actual Spy vs Spy animation.

Considering that MA Dtv sucked pretty much from the word start and then proceded to consist of another fourteen Christ-fucking years of unfunny shit, I'm not going to even give this the benefit of the doubt.

I liked the first 10 years of Mad Tv actually. It stopped being funny around the time Bobby Lee came around. Don't get me wrong, he's funny when he's doing stand-up, but he was a spotlight stealing Token Minority on the show.

The first episode of this one wasn't bad. Haven't seen the second one yet. (Going to catch a re-run on Thursday.) I'll be sure to look away during the pimple gag. I nearly puked when Invader Zim did a zit gag, I doubt I could stand what Mad would attempt.

^^You are doing a good thing. This show is terrible. The Star Wars Clone Wars show parody they did was unimaginative.

Funny how at the start of this thead, everyone was praising this show, now everyone;'s bashing it.

But whatever. I like it.

I didn't bash it right away, because I missed the first episode.

Just saw the 2nd episode. Is it bad that I had no reaction the the pimple gag whatsoever?

The funny thing is, I didn't think it'd be any good when I saw the ads. The first episode surprised me. It's not the funniest thing ever, but I don't think it's that horrible either.

Saw a re-run of the second episode last night. I still like it. The Transboremers sketch was funny at first, but then it just dragged on. Not to mention the needless Pixar refferences. The Larry the Cable Guy refference with Mater was so far off. "Tater Salad" is Ron White's bit, not Larry's, damn it!

I didn't think the Star Wars bit was too bad either. Except for the names anyway. I lol'd at the Six Flags refference.

Well, considering the balance between good and bad, I say that the first half (i.e. the "first" episode) is good as I got plenty of laughs out of it and the second half is... OK. Not as strong as the first episode, but OK.

I agree on the whole pimple thing. Man, that's true Nausea Fuel right there. Dis-GUS-ting! It was bad when they were showing off in the previews, but seeing the extending version of it... Ugh!

... I think it is a OK show. I'm not sure on the long run, but I can get a few laughs out of it.

"What happened to Mad Magazine? I haven't seen it in ages. T'was a fine publication, that."

It's still out there, you can buy it.
Mad TV sucks ass, yes, but really it's not too related to the magazine since they dropped the animations they had way back 10 years ago.

The new episode wasn't too bad. Grey's In Anime was pretty hilarious all together! I'm surprised at how many memes they got in there! a blue Domo and a green Pedobear appeared, which is shocking to say the least.

That sketch alone makes up for EVERYTHING in the last episode! I was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe! The fact that the censors probably thought Pedobear was simply a green bear is hilarious!

I wonder when they'll reference Robot Unicorn Attack.

Also, I can't believe they did the over 9,000 gag.

Admittedly, seeing that Grey's In Anime sketch made my day. Over 9000, Pedobear, Caramelldansen...

Just... WTF.

I find that sketch hard to watch. I mean sure they are making fun of all things that make up anime, but that was a bit hard to watch. I got to try it again on Thursday.

That's to me though. Everyone else seems to enjoy it.

This episode made up for the episode last week BIG TIME. and is even better than the premiere episode, also, i speak for everyone that i did NOT EXPECT GREEN PEDOBEAR. as well as Domo.

My name remains a mystery to us all.

I liked it.

"I'm the best at what I do, and what I do is clean stuff" something like that.

I'm just glad cn got a sense of humor about itself

I seriously hate those new live action preteen shows and I'm very glad whenever they get bashed.

also hooray for courage reruns

cn's picking up the slack lately. I guess it's cause school started again?

I just gotta say without derailment BRING SAMURAI JACK TO BLU RAY AND GIVE US A SERIES FINALE MOVIE!

I say kill off aku but then have jack decide to stay in the future timeline. leave it open to a new series

also in case you missed it, the main creator of MAD is also a creative director on robot chicken. So yea...

I don't think kids are going to get MAD but if they put it on as the last show before adult swim there ratings should be pretty good.

After two episodes of toilet humor and horrid writing, I was going to stop watching it. Then I saw this:

I think I'll stick around for a few more episodes.
