Well, it's certainly well-publicized in Erusea, judging by the immense amount of utter terror the Erusean ground troops exhibit whenever the "Grim Reaper" with the "ribbon insignia" flies overhead in the later missions after taking out Stonehenge.
I wouldn't be surprised if, after the Siege of Farbanti, he earned "Yellow-Killer" as a new nickname.
Also, his exploits reached San Salvacion's townspeople (through the occupation forces or other, civilian sources, I'm not sure).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Yeah, but I doubt after the war the ISAF went out and said "yes, this is everything this pilot did". Probably some details (like the giant death machines that got hijacked, for example) were kept off-records.
Also, the countries always baffled me. Every country is a counterpart to some from out, real world, like this:
- USEA, Emmeria, OSEA = America
- Erusea = France
- Yuktobania = Russia
- Belka = Germany
- Ustio = Canada
- etc.
Feels weird how there's 3 Americas, no British, no Chinese or other Asians, no Africa, etc. The culture configurations here are all over the place.
1) Usea and Osea are not written in ALL CAPS. 2) Usea is a continent, not a country. There's a reason why ISAF stands for "Independent States Allied Forces".
As for the culture configuration... Apparently, Verusa (just below Yuktobania) is the China analogue, Wellow is Canada, and IMO the island country of North Point seems like a stand-in for the UK.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Well what do you know, you're right
. It's not clear what the "FCU" is beyond being an opposing power to Erusea, though. It could have been an European Union-like federation of all other Usean states, or it could be limited to Central Usea. Scratch that, here's a geopolitical map fo Usea.
◊
And this map
◊ shows that the western part of the Verusa continent is almost identical to Europe, North Africa, Turkey, and the Middle East.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I thought North Point was Switzerland. And since Ustio was getting stomped by Belka (the Nazi Germany analogue), I'd say if anything, they're France or the UK.
Also just replayed Zero on Ace and decided to stomp Pixy with the Falken. Just one question: Why must the Falken be so much uglier than the Morgan?
Uglier?! I thought it was much better looking (for what's obviously a futuristic plane) than the Morgan. It looked... intimidatingly unnerving.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. You mean its means of deploying the TLS isn't hideous? How about the drooping nose? The fact that it's just so much more angular? And I swear that its long, narrow, angular fuselage just emphasizes the giant gap between the (much blockier) engines. And the COFFIN system's exterior just looks worse than an actual cockpit.
A lot of it is that it just seems so much taller and bulkier, though. And, yes, it's unnerving, but that doesn't make it look intimidating. It looks more like "that thing should not be able to fly".

It certainly looked awesome to me. Actually, all of the points you're complaining about? Those are pretty much the reasons why I love the Falken.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Yeah, I don't get how anyone can slap words about Falken. It's a damn futuristic plane so broad with equipment it had to be cut down to Morgan so the production cost matches to 3 planes with the price of 2
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...You'd be wrong about the aerodynamicy of the plane. Well, at least according to X-Plane. And the outer design is a bit more intimidating than most planes (with no visible cockpit, same reason Faceless Goons are more threatening than their non-facemask wearing counterpart), so there's that, it's not made to look pretty or cool.
I know X-Plane says it can fly.
And the way I see it, Faceless Goons only look deader than regular Mooks.
@Cassie: He said nothing of the sort. He said no performance was lost in the Belkan changes (the Falken does outperform the Morgan (most notably in the performance of its TLS (both number of shots and length thereof))) and the Falken wasn't even invented in the Belkan War, it's just an Easter Egg. Just consider that it's more advanced than the Morgan, which is the most advanced thing (canonically) in the skies in 1995.

I think he's refering to the cutscene where Pops mentions that North Belkan Industries were able to cut corners and make 3 planes for the cost of one, yet without losing any performance.
As for the FALKEN's appearance: While the Morigan was a prototype for the FALKEN, the plane itself wad an experiment in technology that would lead to the development if the COFFIN system that many far uglier planes used in ''Electrosphere".

"3 planes for the cost of one" as in "3 planes of the same model for the cost of one", to be clear.
Hey, it happens. Just so you know, the US Air Force has "Experimental" (denoted by "X", e.g. X-36
), whose success is a prerequesite for "Prototype" (denoted by a "Y" before the intented production designation, e.g. YF-23
), and then "Production" (e.g. F-22 Raptor).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. So, I'm playing the demo for Top Gun Hard Lock and I can't help but notice... it kinda feels like Ace Combat's and After Burner's weird child. There's something very similar to DFM called "Hard Lock", except that it actually feels harder to keep a lock on the plane, and it's completely optional. The plane moves After Burner style, with you moving up-down and yawing left-right with one stick (sadly, you can't change that), use your after burner, roll and pull off oddly easy cobras with the right one.
I really liked it. It's fun, intuitive yet challenging, so far as the demo goes. WAY better than the previous Top Gun game.

Well yeah, it feels like the low-budget Eastern European ripoff of Assault Horizon. For bonus points, it also has a character called "Bishop".
Wait, really? I remember some enemies being ridiculously flare-happy if you didn't use "Hard Lock" (*snerk*) on them.

"I tell you, man, the grey men are real! they were behind the whole thing! your goverment is lying to us!"
What I'm, really interested in is whether or not all of Mobius 1's Exploits in 4 and Katina were made public.
