Breastfeeding and parasites

There've been a number of strips lately, but I'll just comment on the latest.

Super Ghost hangs up the sheet. I think this is the first we've seen of Super Ghost's ethnicity. Which... actually made me slightly uncomfortable. Sure, not a white sheet, but a black person essentially naming themselves a "spook"...

Well, that last panel's speech bubble has an ominous tail...

You misspelled "nonsensical" there.

"I hope you keep doing it forever how much longer you do"? TAFKA Super Ghost may have hit her head.

There's also that weird wiggly tail, which I guess could indicate some sort of loopiness from head trauma, but instead made me think of an attempt to convey a villainous unhinged speech.

Are we sure that was Laila? It was coming from off panel. I mean it might have been Laila's lips and tongue forming the words but was it her saying them?

Davan seems to be taking the news well.

Of course Davan would take this well. His past friendships are strong indications of that. But yeah, this would be a lousy way to find out. Let the kid come forward at his own pace.

Didn't he tell Davan before this? I remember him telling someone.

He talked to the half shaved girl from the scare house, who I think is also his babysitter.

Kind of puts a new context on the "Dick Destroyer" shirt (which I'd figured might be a Wrestling With Wregret reference to "Dick Kick City").

He hinted it to Davan by asking about boys when he got the talk, which makes me surprised Davan is surprised. Of course, Rory's probably aware that his wife is bi, and his "sister" married to a woman. Donna, on the other hand...

It can be hard to tell with Davan, but I think we might be able to take him at his word that his surprise is at Rory's bad technique.

Davan has layers. I mean, something that we have seen time and time again, but I like that Davan sometimes struggles with his natural tendency to be snarky because deep down, he really does care about the people in his life, even the ones who he doesn't always like (not that I'm putting Rory in that category).

Before I get snipped at for including some of the earlier strips, I have to point out a) Randy could have used these to help him decide on this plot point, and b) yeah, stereotypes aren't solid evidence of orientation, but they are hints, whether they're true for individuals or not. Please don't get mad at me, I cry easily.

I don't think anything is going to come from this punchline - it's just a callback. His weird, stupid anecdotes would probably not improve much of anything.

I think the suggestion is not that the weird, stupid anecdotes will help, but that Davan might be bisexual.

Yeah, the way I see it the hints we've had in the past and his thoughts today mean that he's probably at least a 1 or 2 on the Kinsey scale.

Never had this happen in any of the IWC events I've frequented, but I have seen in once or twice in their DVD releases. Overshoots happen, even with security barriers.
