This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Hello, I'd like to request two edits. Can you delete misuse of Spirited Young Lady on these pages?
- Characters.The Vampire Diaries Book Characters (four links to be deleted)
- Characters.The Vampire Diaries Main Characters (one link)
It's misuse or insufficient context to determine whether the character fits the trope. Some girls are from our age and therefore don't fit at all; one woman/vampire is from history, but it has no valid context for the trope.

Slight rewrite for Comic Books: I to Z:
- Tales from the Crypt: Señor Pedro Tobosa, from issue 42's Tales from the Crypt comic "The Bath", is the greedy owner of a South American silver mine, whose prime hobbies consist of horrifically brutalizing his workers and bathing constantly to relieve himself of their "filth". Viewing the people under him as lowly, diseased vermin, Tobosa would force them to mine in horrific conditions, personally whipping the starving workers for requesting food and water, and at one point ordered a man to have his mouth sewn shut for coughing in Tobosa's presence. When he and his men raid a village for more workers, Tobosa drafts a young boy to the mines, despite his parents' pleas. He then takes special pleasure in whipping the child and ultimately causes his death. Tobosa brushes off the boy as a weakling and later guns down his grieving parents when they attack him in revenge, simply for getting his clothes dirty. He then orders their bodies to be left in the sun to rot out of spite.

Adding to what XFllo said above, can I request for all the The Vampire Diaries pages to be unlocked? It's said they're locked for "Persistent Zero-Context Example vandalism.", but even the locked pages have some ZCE and misused tropes, yet since the pages are locked they can't be hidden or edited.
The show also has been over for 2 years, I don't think it will attract vandalism anymore.

Google Translate Sings and its subpages should be moved to Translator Fails, as Malinda has renamed the channel (and it still belongs under WebVideo/, not Music/, since not all the videos are music). Also, should Manga.GeGeGe no Kitaro be moved to the Anime/ namespace? From what I can tell, the original manga and its direct 2008 adaptation are under Manga.Hakaba Kitaro, but the GeGeGe no Kitaro page says it's a "manga and anime".

He demonstrates an utter disregard for his men's lives, frequently triggering traps and getting them killed, solely so that he can laugh at their deaths. Taking his true, massive, monstrous form, Wyald states his abhorrent intent to brutally rape Casca to death.

Requesting that Americans Hate Soccer be made a redirect to Soccer-Hating Americans. Right now the former is a redirect to Americans Hate Tingle, which is confusing, and its only non-administrivia wick (on Double Standard) is incorrectly used in place of Soccer-Hating Americans.

Shouldn't Music.Woodstock redirect to UsefulNotes.Woodstock (the festival) instead of Film.Woodstock (the documentary)? The wicks seem to refer to both.
