This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here
.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here
.
- The Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard tropes aren't currently adding or removing examples. Wick changes and other minor corrections to the locked trope pages can be made via this thread, but more significant changes will be declined.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

Just an honest question: If I post a redirect request, and after a day or two of subsequent new posts to the thread it hasn't been acted upon, is it safe to assume that it was deemed superfluous and thus I should drop the issue?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Creating new redirects is a somewhat circuitous process:
- Create a (broken) redirect in a non-Main/ namespace.
- Move it into Main/ namespace. This is the part that needs a moderator tool.
- Activate the redirect.

... I don't see Magma Manipulation redirected to Magma Man. So technically it's "Done to a few posts above here."

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
There's a silly 'feature' that redirects all attempts at creating pages in main to YKTTW. I know why it was put in, but it should be able to be turned off for redirects (and if what you've written isn't a redirect, THEN send you to YKTTW.) Yes, I know that might be a bit complex to code, but it would solve the problem. Note:It has made it hard for MODS to make main redirects.

Keeper of The Celestial FlameI've made that redirect and fixed another Joker link. Not sure about The One Who Tropes's proposal, I sort of dislike these kinds of loopholes.

- In Yandere Simulator, it can be discovered that Kokona Haruka has engaged in this. Yandere-chan can then either use this information to lure Kokona away to kill her quietly, or spread it around school to drive Kokona to suicide.
In Sonichu, please remove the pothole that's in the headline quote. Thanks in advance!

OK, the following is what I'd like to see added to the Moral Guardian page, Literature, directly following the entry on Thomas Bowdler:
- Interestingly, the Rev. Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, deacon in the Church of England, and better known by his Pen Name of Lewis Carroll, thought Bowdler hadn't gone far enough. He considered creating an even more censored version that would be, in his Carroll's opinion, suitable for young girls.
If you mean below it as a second-level bullet, that violates the rules for Example Indentation in Trope Lists. Short version: if there's just one bullet at any level other than the first, "it ain't indented right." It would only be correct to add it as a first-level bullet.
On Sonichu, "an" should be "and" in the quote. You accidently removed the d when you got rid of the pothole.
At Video Games A To K, for Blazblue, for Terumi, please replace the current entry with this:
- Yuki Terumi is an extremely arrogant and sadistic spirit who revels in others' suffering. His acts include personally responsible for the Black Beast, which destroyed over 80% of the world's population; causing Lotte Carmine to transform into Arakune; regularly using Human Resources to create and power People Of Mass Destruction; and mind raping other people to manipulate them. His motives are fun and wanting to plunge the world into despair, the only thing he believed to be the ultimate truth.
Please add the following write-up to Monster.Disney:
Gravity Falls: Bill Cipher is an interdimensional demon and, despite his Faux Affably Evil manner, amusing moments, and twisted sense of humor, the overarching threat within the series. A being of chaos who "liberated" his home realm, Bill sought to escape his decaying realm by invading another world he could wreak havoc on, and set his eye on Earth's universe. A chessmaster extraordinaire, Bill exploited the desperation of Stanford Pines, manipulating him into building a portal that would allow the fusion of the Nightmare Realm and the physical world so Bill could wreak chaos world-wide. In the present, Bill stalks the Pines twins after their initial meeting. At the turning point of Bill's plan, Bill goads a despondent Mabel into handing him the means in which to break the gap between the real world and the Nightmare Realm – and after doing so, traps Mabel in a Lotus-Eater Machine and unleashes "Weirdmaggedon" on Gravity Falls. Demonstrating his random cruelty by abominating Preston Northwest's face, Bill assaults the town, which sees almost all its citizens converted into a series of statues built into a "throne of human agony" and the rest living in hiding in a horribly-mutated Eldritch Location. Bill is dismissive of the fact that his influence could lead to destruction of existence, and callously vaporizes Time Baby and the Time Police once they point this out to him. Bill was a being motivated by a lust of chaos and random whims, and happily conducted torture and the attempted brutal murder of children to further his goals. Treating everyone like a pawn and the world itself as a game, Bill devoted his entire existence to wreaking chaos and destruction on the world at large.

What about this film/book/game/show that was just released? Can I add its villain pretty please?: Hold your horses. Not everyone will have had the chance to see it yet. Further, people who do plan to see it will be very annoyed with you for posting spoilers. It is customary to allow two weeks past a work's official release date (one week for television episodes) for people to catch up before proposing an example.edited 24th Feb '16 5:51:52 AM by ACW
