This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here
.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here
.
- The Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard tropes aren't currently adding or removing examples. Wick changes and other minor corrections to the locked trope pages can be made via this thread, but more significant changes will be declined.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRequest for addition to Final Fantasy VII under "Memetic Mutation"
- The option to say to Aeris "you're the slum drunk!" is infamous. In response to the question of Aeris or Aerith, some suggest naming her "Slum Drunk" when she joins shortly after.
I've made Star Trek Starfleet Academy into a disambiguation page, so its entry can be removed from S To U
![]()
2 rewrites below (Fallout; Film)
- Fallout 2: Frank Horrigan is a Secret Service agent and The Dragon to President Dick Richardson. A psychopath even before his mutation, Horrigan delighted in killing whenever he could. His first onscreen appearance has him gunning down a family, including their child, for refusing his demands. Later, he gleefully kills Brotherhood of Steel agent, Matt, and wipes out the entire community of peaceful, talking deathclaws that the player had earlier befriended. Horrigan has a special hatred for “mutants”, humans and creatures that have been exposed to the FEV virus or even the slightest amount of radiation. This racism leads to him aiding in the Enclave’s plan to unleash a biological weapon which will wipe out all mutated life in North America, in order to make America "genetically pure." Once defeated, Horrigan tries to activate the Enclave Oil Rig's self-destruct sequence, condemning all of his remaining allies to death, just so he can take the Chosen One with him when he dies.
- Big Bad Wolf: Mitch Toblat is a werewolf who can retain his mind and talk, but that means nothing when you have the mindset of a Serial Killer and a rapist. At the start of the film Mitch kills Derek Crowley's father in front of Derek's uncle Charlie, before marrying Derek's mother and emotionally abusing him for years. When Derek and his friends decide to go on a trip to Mitch's personal cabin, Mitch interrupts their fun as a werewolf by killing all but Derek and his love interest Samantha; in said massacre, he rapes and kills a virginal girl in front of her boyfriend, taunts said boyfriend, castrates him, and kills him. Later he blames Derek for bringing his friends to the cabin in the first place. When, Derek, Sam and Charlie are investigating Mitch and looking for DNA evidence, he catches Sam in his room and forces her to perform oral sex on him. When he discovers they were investigating him, Mitch abducts, tortures and kills Charlie, telling him it’s his own fault for not minding his business. Later he abducts Sam and takes her to his cabin, intending to lure Derek to him. The plan is sidetracked when another group of teenagers come to investigate the previous massacre, but he kills them to and rapes a girl in their group. He then attempts to kill Derek and Sam and a fight and just before he is killed, he bites Derek so that he will be cursed.

Per ATT, if I may, I've a minor correction to the new section on Welcome to TV Tropes on whether and when to delete content from a page: in the section on moving Trivia and YMMV items on main work pages to the appropriate subpages rather than deleting them entirely, YMMV should be potholed to YMMV.Home Page (the index of subjective tropes) rather than to YMMV (the erstwhile home of the index of subjective tropes which now tells readers not to use "YMMV" or like phrases when writing for the wiki).
Actually, just use that at CHERUB Series; I made a few other minor tweaks.
- Also, please see the Twilight Zone edit at The Twilight Zone (Live-Action TV).
For Naruto, please replace the CM entry as follows:
- Complete Monster: Naruto is an idealistic series with most villains achieving redemption or having redeeming qualities. That said, two of them outstrip others in atrocity and have nothing redeeming whatsoever to them.
- Orochimaru was the series' first monster, and one of its worst. Formerly one of the three Sannin, and a hero of the village, Orochimaru was driven out when it was revealed that he was a Serial Killer and Mad Scientist, who had performed sick experiments on captured villagers, genetically altering infants in order to create super soldiers, and murdering others in an effort to unlock the secrets of immortality. He joined up with the Akatsuki, but was expelled after he tried to body jack Itachi Uchiha, and struck out on his own, recruiting lost children into his Hidden Sound Village with promises of power. He infiltrates the Chunin exams, corrupts Sasuke with the curse mark, and then triggers a war between the Sand and Leaf Villages. During his battle with his former mentor, The Third Hokage, Orochimaru sacrifices three of his men in order to summon the First, Second, and Fourthnote to fight against the third; resulting in the Third's death. He later does his best to kill his former friends Jiraiya and Tsunade, completes Sasuke's turn to the dark side, and is defeated while trying to steal his body. Having long ago shed any good qualities he once had, Orochimaru shows how low even those with once good intentions can fall, having reached the point where he does not even remember them anymore.
- Hidan, unlike the rest of the Akatsuki, has no real Freudian Excuse. An Axe-Crazy Psychopathic Manchild and member of a Religion of Evil, Hidan worships violence and death, and sees mercy (or indeed, anything other than full-scale slaughter) as a sin. He and his partner, Kakuzu, corner and capture the Two-Tails jinchuuriki, Yugito Ni, delivering her to Pain for draining and, eventually, death. The two of them subsequently slaughtered a temple's worth of monks in order to collect the bounty on the head monk, Chiriku. During the battle at the bounty station, Hidan engaged Asuma Sarutobi in combat, and used a religious ritual to bind their souls together, then began mutilating himself in order to torture Asuma, ultimately leading to the Leaf Ninja's painful death. When Asuma's student Shikamaru confronted Hidan, Hidan mocked his mentor's memory, and attempted to inflict the same fate on Shikamaru.

A drop in the bucket, perhaps, but Jackanory is now in the Series/ namespace with all wicks moved, so it can be removed from WorkPagesInMain.J To L. (Main.Jackanory only has three inbounds; should it be put on the cutlist?)
