Just reposting a link to this post
in the interests of making sure it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. I'll reiterate that the changes I'm asking to have reverted were not at any point approved by the CM Clean-Up Thread, and whoever made them did not go through us. Getting those entries back to their original state would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
A few changes for Monster.Disney:
First, for Lotso, either all the spoiler tags should be removed, or only the part where Lotso leaves the toys to die in the incinerator should be in spoiler tags (I'll leave it for the admins to decide).
Second, the first sentence of the Taurus Bulba entry should be changed. Currently, the first sentence is this:
"In Darkwing Duck, Taurus Bulba is probably a bigger Complete Monster than the rest of the villains with almost no ounce of comedy at all."
I think it should be changed to this (which is similar to what's currently written on the the show's YMMV page):
"Taurus Bulba from Darkwing Duck. Unlike the rest of the villains, his actions are played with no ounce of comedy at all."

toonyloon, in general edit requests posted here should be complete and ready to go, not "I'll leave it for the admins to decide".

All your safe space are belong to TrumpOkay, for all the posts that I haven't previously addressed:
6851: Done. I also folderized Monster.Anime And Manga
6860: The proposed replacement for the Grundel on Monster.Western Animation needs namespacing and some grammar fixes. Everything else is done.
6862, 6864, 6877, 6878: Done.
6879: I did everything that I could do. I made Eddie aware of the changes that needed to be made on the homepage, but I dunno if he did them or not. Also, I don't have access to the herald messages to make changes; you'll need to contact whichever mod(s) handles that.
6880, 6881, 6890 - 6898: Done.
6899: Septimus is right, if that wasn't cleared by the cleanup thread it can't be added.
6901: The Ruthven entries need namespacing. The rest is done.
6905: Please run those requested changes through the CM cleanup thread.
We should be completely caught up except for the things above that need to be tweaked and re-submitted; LMK if I missed anything.

Thanks, Willbyr. Please just also cut the Monster.Sailor Moon page now
Also replace Bayaz on Monster.Literature with this new writeup:
- Bayaz of The First Law at first appear to be a kindly, if grumpy, old wizard-mentor archetype. The truth is far more sinister. Bayaz has been the secret puppet master of The Union for centuries, sending countless men to pointless death against his Rival Turned Evil Khalul, who betrayed his and Bayaz's master and murdered his own daughter, who was Bayaz's lover. While Khalul is a threat with his incredible magic power and legion of Eaters, those who have gained sinister powers upon eating human flesh, Bayaz manages to be far worse. He sadistically dominates the new king when the young man tries to stand up to him, revealing him as nothing more than an expendable Son of a Whore, and his whole plan of setting up a puppet king in the first place was so that he could crush any dissenting opinions and increase his autocratic hold on the Union, and acheinv the end involved numerous evil acts including ordering the murders of social reformers and sabotaging efforts at making peace with Gurkhul. When Bayaz uses the magical equivalent of a WMD that wipes out a huge faction of his own men, Bayaz's only response is a satisfied grin and to say "It works, " not caring the slightest about the massive civilian casualties. Making things even worse, every justification Bayaz uses to justify his means of fighting Khalul turn out to be a lie. Bayaz was the traitor and killed his own lover and Khalul fell to darkness to bring Bayaz to justice. In fact, even Bayaz's professed abhorrence of Eaters turns out to be a lie, as Bayaz made his loyal sidekick Yoru Sulfur an Eater and over the course of the series, Sulfur eats alive two people to facilitate Bayaz's schemes. Bayaz is driven entirely by ego and spite, wanting nothing more than to crush Khalul for daring to oppose him, and enforcing an oppressive regime based entirely about satisfying his own megalomania.
Here's the Grundel writeup with proper namespacing to replace the one on Western Animation
- The Grundel from The Real Ghost Busters is an evil spirit who enjoys corrupting children. He has minor Compelling Voice powers: if a child has history of bad actions and is getting into trouble all the time, the Grundel can often convince the child to invite him in. Once invited in, the Grundel will convince the child to commit more bad actions, such as convincing a child named Alec to tamper with the Ghostbusters proton packs during a school assembly, endangering all the other children present. The more bad actions the child commits, the more the child falls under the Grundel's influence, eventually turning into a Grundel themselves and looking for more kids to corrupt. The Grundel also manages to convince Alec to bring his brother Lee to him as well, so he can corrupt Lee as well, despite Alec's initial protests.
- The Grundel returns in Extreme Ghostbusters, 10 years after he was captured by the original Ghostbusters. It is revealed that he has a connection to one of the new Ghostbusters, Kylie. The Grundel tried to corrupt Kylie as a child, but she was too strong willed, so he corrupted her friend Jack instead. Deciding that Kylie's influence will mean that Jack will not be a keeper, the Grundel places Jack in a cocoon for 10 years, so that he will become another Grundel, thus managing to steal ten years of Jack's life. When Kylie confronts the original Grundel about this new Grundel, the Grundel taunts Kylie about their past history and the fate of her former childhood friend. The Grundel later escapes from the containment unit and tries to corrupt Roland's brother Casey. When Kylie manages to confront the Grundel, Kylie says she is not afraid him, because his powers only work on children. The Grundel knows this, but thinks it would be fun to murder Kylie anyway.
And for Der Vampyre for Monster.Literature
- Lord Ruthven of The Vampyre is the original aristocratic vampire, and a piece of work in both the short story and the opera:
- In John Polidori's short story The Vampyre, Ruthven is a sexual and psychological predator who befriends Aubrey and uses him as bait to draw in women. He murders Aubrey's Love Interest Ianthe, then fakes his own death, making Aubrey swear to tell no one of it. When Aubrey returns home, he finds Ruthven engaged to his sister, whom he plans to kill. Aubrey finally violates his oath, leading to his death; the warning comes to late, and the servants find Aubrey's sister the day after the wedding, drained of blood.
- In Heinrich Marschner's opera Der Vampyr, Ruthven is a satan worshipper, who must drink the blood of three women over a twenty-four hour period or forfeit his soul to Hell. He kills a girl named Janthe, then fakes his death after her father shoots him, making his friend Aubrey, who he once saved, keep his being a vampire a secret. The next day, Aubrey finds Ruthven has hypnotised his Love Interest Malwina's father into engaging them; he has also begun preying on a girl named Emmy. Ruthven kills Emmy, handing her soul over to his masters, then goes through with his plans to marry Malwina, while using his supposed friendship with Aubrey and the oath that the latter swore, to keep him from warning her and her father that Ruthven will kill her. In the end Ruthven is struck down by his own masters, moments before he can kill not only Malwina, but Aubrey too, whom he regards as a traitor for trying to stop Ruthven from killing his girlfriend.

I'm not asking for it to be unlocked, but I'm just curious since the edit history reset a while ago.
What exactly happened with why the FF 7 page was locked? I know the Edit Lock page says "ship war", but isn't that a YMMV? Why wasn't it isolated there? Or inside IJBM/Headscratchers/Real-Fridge-Logic-Page-That-Everyone-Mistakes-For-Complaints-Dump?
Yes, I am the guy who refused to call Magikarp Power "not worth the effort"Yeesh. Let me guess, they called the Golden Saucer scenes "stupid and contrived becuz Cloud luvz X insted". If not, can I get examples? I need something to laugh at today.
Yes, I am the guy who refused to call Magikarp Power "not worth the effort"Ah. Then I guess I'll just run away and use "check over spelling/grammar just to be sure" as my escape route.

I've rewritten Dick and Myrrah's entries:
- The Powerpuff Girls gives us one-shot villain Professor Dick Hardly (pictured above, after his transformation). Introduced as the sleazy college roommate of Professor Utonium, Dick quickly sees the potential of the Powerpuff Girls as a way to get rich quick. Getting the girls to supply him with Chemical X, Dick makes his own knock-offs of the girls and starts a business selling these copies as superheroes. Due to Dick's greed, however, these knock-offs have been created with minimum materials and Chemical X, meaning that, even though they are aware, they are mentally stunted and physically deformed. When the effort of superheroing causes the knock-offs to literally fall apart, Dick's happy because it means he gets to sell even more copies. At one point Dick notices one of his knock-offs is a perfect Buttercup copy, his response is to order the girl melted down for her "excessive" Chemical X. The episode's climax has Dick capturing the real Powerpuff Girls and killing them slowly by draining them of their Chemical X. When Utonium offers to be a slave, making Chemical X for Dick for the rest of his life, if Dick will let the girls live, Dick only laughs and says he'll kill the girls and keep Utonium as a slave. Greed incarnate, Dick Hardley was notable for being the only villain on the show to be played completely seriously, with no humorous quirks to detract from his viciousness.
- Queen Myrrah from Gears of War starts a war with the human race on Sera just six weeks after the Pendulum Wars-a 79 year old conflict ended. She orders the deaths of every man, woman, and child on the surface so the Locust can colonize, enslaving the human stragglers and lobotomizing them as Dom found out what happened to his wife Maria. She immediately turned down the diplomatic option when the Lambent wore down her forces underground, saying that the best thing to do is kill every human being instead of focusing on the lambent. These actions caused billions of human deaths on Sera, forcing COG to use the Hammer of Dawn to scorch the earth so much it's an Apocalyptic World. [[spoiler:Finally? After she loses at the end of Gears of War 3, with both Lambent and Locust going extinct due to Adam Fenix's invention she mocks Marcus on his father's Heroic Sacrifice to stop the Lambent...only for the last remaining Carmine brother to first shoot at her...and then Marcus stabs her.

Please add the following to No Real Life Examples, Please!:
* GagBoobs: Too much information.
* WhiteHairBlackHeart: The trope is hair color as a sign of villainy, and the wiki doesn't call real life people villains.
(The Gag Boobs reason is the same as Gag Penis [was already NRLEP], hence why I didn't put in something more verbose.
)
Another one for Video Games And Visual Novels. Please replace the gothic entry as follows:

On Gratuitous Rape, this example
- The random attempted rape in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan... fortunately, Jason shows up to dispatch the would-be attacker.
should be changed to:
- After the remaining cast is mugged in Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, the perpetrators decide to take the Final Girl with them as well and attempt to rape her at their hideout. Fortunately, Jason shows up to dispatch the duo.
Hello mods, I'd like to request that you please add the following entry "* Chekhov's Gunman: He only appeared in the second episode of the series, but makes it to Jane's final seven list." on The Mentalist page, and then lock the page. / I have to ask you to lock the page because there is a troper who keeps insisting that the character makes more than one appearance, despite the fact that IMDB, Reddit, and the Mentalist Wikia all say he only showed up once. Thanks.

I can't speak for the other guy, but I'm not going to readd a disputed entry without the support of a mod. It's a damn shame, though. The trope used is a good one. It just needs to have the correct explanation, and the other guy insists on adding the wrong explanation.
