This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

"Master D" and "The Badds" in the NES game Bionic Commando (1988) were really Hitler and the Nazis with the swastikas painted over, due to clumsy Bowdlerization of the Japanese release, called Top Secret: The Resurrection of Hitler.
Not only does he cuss at you in an NES game, but you get to blow up his head, in one of the greatest video game moments of all-time.

For Monster/Podcasts, if the entries are categorized by release date the Ain't Slayed Nobody entry on The Dare should go between the entries for "The Murder Shack" and "A Dance With Darkness".
"The Murder Shack" was originally released on September 17, 2020; and was recut into three episodes on June 13, 2023.
The Dare was released on October 10, 2022.
"A Dance With Darkness" was released on April 2, 2023.

For Ain't Slayed Nobody? Before the CM list was moved to the Monster/Podcast page over I'd been sorting them by the episodes' chronological release dates—which also seems to be the policy for the Monster/Podcast page itself.

I don't know if this has been discussed already but I think it'd be logical to have The2010s and The2020s as respective redirects to The New '10s and The New '20s. I mean, The 2000s is already a redirect to Turn of the Millennium.
