This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

The decade barely started. Really, the page shouldn't have been made until the '20s were over. Either way, bringing back the trope list is not something I am concerned about and I don't see any good in doing so.

I wanted to make a small edit to Double Standard Rape: Female on Male under Live-Action TV, because it says, "Legion: In the season 2 finale, David uses his telepathy to wipe the memory of a fight from Syd's mind so he can proceed to have sex with her." In fact, he does it so she won't shoot him, and only has sex with her later.
Also, the "than him" under Star Trek: Voyager should be changed to "than he is".
And I notice that the examples for The Next Generation and Enterprise need to be put together with the other Star Trek examples, which are under the heading "Star Trek" lower down the page.

Slight rewrite for In Death:
- Apprentice in Death: Willow Mackie, a 15-year-old who loves being the center of attention, is responsible for 25 deaths and scores more wounded. Willow's father, former NYPSD sniper Reginald Mackie, is distraught and starts taking drugs when his second wife, Willow's stepmother, is killed in an accident. Willow, supposedly to help her father but really because she thrives on attention, formulates a plan whereby the Mackies target those supposedly responsible for his ex's death. With Reginald having trained her and assisting, Willow uses a laser rifle to first kill 3 people including a target, the latter painfully shot in the gut; then 4 people including a second target, with a fifth victim wounded; and then, even after Reginald was captured, Willow by herself executes a mass shooting at Madison Square Garden, killing 18 people including a third target, and wounding dozens. Willow's cruelty isn't limited to the sniping, as she torments—and eventually plans to kill—her stepfather, own mother, and 7-year-old half-brother, whose dog she had killed. Willow has others she plans to kill, and eventually plans to hit her high school and kill at least 100 there and in the surrounding area, making history.
