This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here
.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here
.
- The Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard tropes aren't currently adding or removing examples. Wick changes and other minor corrections to the locked trope pages can be made via this thread, but more significant changes will be declined.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

Adolf Hitler and Barack Obama have YMMV links that need to be removed since Examples Are Not YMMV. Also, YMMV.Avatar, since there is a banner already, the entire line can go. On Conversation In The Main Page, YMMV should be potholed to YMMV.Home Page, please.
By the way, I wonder if Your Mileage May Vary could become a fake redlink. It was asked in the YMMV TRS thread, but was never done.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.On "Anti Shipping Goggles", would a mod please change the link to Warrior Cats to a link to Literature.Warrior Cats? Thank you.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"Laconic.Fast Eddie needs a second hard line after the link back to his troper page.

On Monster.Bleach, can the entries on Nnoitra and Yammy and the section on the Vandenreich please be cut? We have consensus in the CM thread that neither Nnoitra
nor Yammy
qualify, and that it's too soon
to have the Vandenreich characters listed.
Thanks!
Monster.Bleach has High Octane Nightmare Fuel wicks.
And Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt has a YMMV sinkhole.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOn Fanfic Recommendations, Elf Quest is mistakenly listed under Visual Novel section instead of Comic Book (or possibly Web Comic since it's all online). Needs to be moved.
Thanks.
Request to edit The Übermensch in order to add The Anti-Nihilist, Blue-and-Orange Morality and Moral Sociopathy to the section on relevant tropes. The "compare" section currently seems to be entirely composed of villain tropes, when as a character trope the übermensch tends to be a bit more ambiguous. Furthermore, every other article related to or mentioning said concept pairs it with Blue-and-Orange Morality due to its focus on moral idiosyncrasy.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Thank you.
If it's not too much trouble, might I also ask that the citation for Nietzsche Wannabe there be changed from "compare" to "contrast"? It's sort of a defining feature of the latter trope as a trope that it's entirely missing the point of Nietzschean philosophy. (I'd probably phrase it thusly: "Contrast with the Straw Nihilist, who often thinks of themselves as this.")
P.S. Please note that this is coming from someone who isn't a particularly big fan of Nietzsche in the first place; I simply just want to get the definition of this trope straight so that people reading it don't get the wrong ideas about it.
P.P.S. I'm not sure how I feel about What Is Evil? being under compare, as it deals with explicitly evil (rather than morally incomprehensible) characters pulling a stunt on a good character. Maybe "compare/contrast" would be appropriate there. Ditto The Sociopath, as while Moral Sociopathy goes hand-in-hand with the übermensch concept—specifically the flavour that overlaps with The Fettered—the general use of sociopathy in fiction is more of a straight "black" moral character than a "blue" one.

Horny Devils contains a number of works that have been cut from the wiki, especially in the anime section.
