Yay! One more person than I thought would be interested! XD You could always play the judge for me if you wanted~ Or just either the Prosecutor or Attorney, though I kinda want to be one of the aides...
Hey! Read my fanfic: HereOkay, 'cause I've been getting some interest(keyword some), I'll go ahead and create a profile skelton:
- Name:
- Age:
- Gender:
- Occupation:
- Position in Trial:
- Appearance:(Note, I want at least a paragraph for this. Seriously, it's not that hard to think of stuff like hair style, skin tone, body type, relative height, eye type, clothing...)
- Bio:(Two paragraphs minimum!)
- Quirks/Special Abilities: Anything like the Megtama, Perceive system, or other such things go here. Also, stuff like Mr. hat, or Ema's collection of forensic tools...
SLOWZOMBIE~ JOIN~ X3
It's really only fan-type to the point that we're using the same legal system. Otherwise, it's unrelated.
Also, case basics:
Location: Swornhield Manor
Victim: Allora Swornhield, Retired Doctor, Age 83
Cause of Death: Drowned in garden pond
Time of Death: 10:50
Suspect: Kyle Swornhield, Heir to the Swornhield Fortune
Motive: To get to the fortune to pay off recent gambling debts
Proposed Alibi: At bar, drinking with friends
Witnesses will need good reason to have been at the manor at time of death. Options include working staff, or maybe someone who lived nearby or was at the manor to visit Allora.
Evidence will be distributed during the RP.
Also, my character will be made when we have either lawyer- my character will probably be their aide.

Hey! Read my fanfic: HereAlright, here's my guy, complete with punny name. He seemed like more of a prosecutor than defense attorney, so that's the one I went with.
Name: Abraham K. Adabra. Stage name: Z
Age:34
Gender: Male
Occupation: Street magician, recently also Lawyer.
Position in Trial: Prosecuting Attorney
Appearance: A tall, dark-haired man, his hair in a short, messy cut, a neatly trimmed soul patch on his chin in stark contrast to the anarchistic head of hair. His face is thin and drawn out, a trait often emphazised by the makeup whenever he does a show. When he's given a choice, he prefers to wear a plain, but expensive, white shirt with card-themed cufflinks (which particular suit he uses seems to vary based on his whims,) and a black silk vest with a faintly visible diamond pattern and plain black pants. He occasionally carries a cane and a tophat when he needs it for a trick, but most of the time, he keep these more cliched setpieces for other magicians to use.
Bio: At some point in his early childhood, Abraham discovered that relatively simple sleight of hand tricks had frankly too many applications to not pursue further. This lead to two things, him becomming quite the expert on the five-finger discount and his first foray into street magic. His parents, strict but ultimately understanding as they were, frowned upon the former, and saw encouraging the latter as a way to distract from any law-breaking hijinx. With his parents' somewhat grudging blessing, Abraham figured he had a plan, a career in magic preformance. However, at the age of 19, a badly botched entrance exam to a prestigious illusionist community left Abraham discouraged. Adding in pressure from his parents to do something constructive with his youth, the now doubting young man decided to go all the way, and aimed for the Bar Exam, the fires of enthusiasm for magic has been reduced to mere embers for now.
The spring Abraham took his Bar Exam was one of the busiest in his life. Not only did he have the considerable workpile that came with the exam, but he was now practicing his illusionist tricks like never before, the embers having been rekindled by word on the grapevine of talent scouts looking for the next big illusionist hit. In a series of fortunate happenings that seemed to imply real magic at work, while there in all probability was none, Abraham managed to both pass the bar exam and attract the attention of a production company for a syndicated street magic show. When deciding which of these to follow, the choice was simple, and the practice of law was abandoned in favor of the show, The Zone, rocketing Abraham, now also known as Z, to stardom. To keep things interesting after a season or two, Abraham decided to introduce a new segment, "The Magic of Justice," and it only took him calling in a few favors and dusting off his Bar Diploma to land him the spot as Prosecuting Attorney in the Swornhield case, a camera team following him, doing a medicore job at being unobtrusive.
Quirks/Special Abilities: "Now You See It," Abraham can hide and retrive small items from somewhere on his person with blinding speed. Exactly where he hides them is uncertain, as a magician never shares his secrets. He is also able to move small items seemingly without physically being able to do so, although this, like most illusions, is merely a trick. In addition, he's quite the showman, so he can appear to be overly dramatic or direct, even when the camera's not rolling.

Liveblog | DeadblogWell, I did try for a Punny Name.
Name: Luke Locere
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Occupation: Junior Police Detective, Homicide division
Position in Trial: Lead Case Officer
Appearance: Black-streaked Red hair, green eyes. About 5'9”, medium-slight build. Wears a dark-grey business suit under a blue-grey military-style greatcoat. When outside of court though, the suit usually lacks a tie, the jacket isn't usually done up and his shirt's not normally tucked in.
Bio: Detective Locere is a fairly recent addition to the Homicide division; having only transferred from Patrol several months ago. He is normally a quiet person, but is not afraid to voice an opinion on a given subject. However, the times when he feels it is necessary to do so are rare, most likely because he is either afraid or unwilling to challenge his superiors.
It should be noted that “recent transfer” does not mean the same thing as inexperienced. Whilst the Swornhield case is his first lead, he has worked on several cases before, either as an investigator or as an attending officer.
Quirks/Special Abilities: None.
Anything need expansion?

"Yup. That tasted purple."- Name: Alexandra Shields
- Age: 26
- Gender: Female
- Occupation: Defense Attorney
- Position in Trial: Main Defense
- Appearance:Alexandra has red Anime Hair which makes her last name quite meaningful. She's rather tall and skinny which makes her look waif-ish. Her outfit is a gold suit which is accented by a gray shirt underneath.
- Bio: Her mother was a Biology Professor at Ivy University moving to the city upon her daughter's entry into Ivy and she had two children both Alexandra and Alexander (fraternal twins). Her father died in an car accident when she was five. As a child she pushed herself to become a politician, wanting to change the country's strict laws when dealing with Guilty criminals and studied for years in law, her brother was training to be a member of the LA police.
When she was 21 her mother was discovered dead outside of her apartment falling six stories after being stabbed with a knife. Alexander's fingerprints were on the knife. Assign with an incompetent Defense Attorney, her brother was convicted of the crime.
- Quirks/Special Abilities: She is telepathic to an extent being able to tell if someone is lying. She can also transmit thoughts either through a sound or an image. She never developed this ability because her mother dissaproved of interest in the supernatural.

The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.First off, Slow Zombie you know you're accepted~ I absolutely love Abe~ So, my character will be his aide! ^_^ (With reason- explained below.)
Also, Luke seems... okay I guess, Deadbeat. I'd like a little more description, but he's passable as-is. Mostly in appearance and his bio, if I were to be totally honest.
And Rhyme, I'm definitely going to ask that you add some more description to your post, and preferably bold the different section headers.
- Name: Jae P. Opals
- Age: 15
- Gender: Female
- Occupation: Idol Trainee
- Position in Trial: Prosecution Aide
- Appearance: Jae has been described as a pretty girl, with her long, curly, dark brown hair, and her large, curious green eyes. She has very lightly tanned skin from many summer jobs and outdoor concerts, and she stands at a relatively short 5'3". She won't reveal her weight, but it's obvious that it's not much- she's rather thin, and has a rather... sensitive spot where most girls of her age have started to mature. Her clothes usually consist of a black-and-purple striped, shoulder-less, long-sleeved shirt, with a black, thick ribbon lining the top, a dark, denim short shorts, and black-and-purple striped flats. She usually ties her hair up in a ponytail with a purple scrunchie.
- Bio: Since a young age, Jae has been trained musically. She was singing since she was able to talk, and was playing piano after she could walk. However, she quickly decided that she loved the stage life- the crowd, the applause! It was where she belonged. Her parents had no problems with this, one being a nurse(who actually worked under Allora for about a year), and the other a concert pianist. So when the time came, she was quickly accepted by the same production company that produced The Zone. In fact, she was also able to land the part of singing the shows opening song! But, in order to get more publicity, her producer got her onto Abraham's "The Magic of Justice" portion of the show.
As for her personality, Jae is rather hot-headed and impulsive. When she sets her mind to something, she doesn't do it lightly! She's also rather energetic, but not so much as to be annoying. Her sense of justice isn't exactly up to par for being in a court of justice, so perhaps her enthusiasm is for more than just publicity? - Quirks/Special Abilities: Due to years of musical training, she can hear nigh-imperceptible changes in pitch. She can hone in on this and tell when a person's voice slights due to lying. When she notices this, she yells out "Come again?!"

Hey! Read my fanfic: Here@Nobody, Great! You still have to fill out a profile sheet, but at least you have a few things laid out for you already: That he claims he was at the bar with his friends(so he drinks regularly), that he has a gambling problem, and that he is the heir to the Swornheild Fortune. Be sure to have character reasons for whether he's innocent or guilty, for real- that will be your responsibility to decide. Just tell me which it is, and the evidence will stack appropriately. And I promise that this knowledge will stay strictly Oo C. *Puts hand over heart and hand in the air*
@zombie, Yay, you like her~ X3 I was afraid you wouldn't. And she won't mind him being mean- her minds made up for the case, so it won't deter her one bit! ^_^
Also, for reference/mostly 'cause I can, here's an example of not only Jae's voice, but also a song I figured would be good for the opening I mentioned for "The Zone", considering it's a magic show. The song's name in English is "Cast Your Magic!"
I'm not going to do this (not a good roleplayer) but maybe a good name for the defense aide (if anyone wants to take it) would be Perry LeGalle?
♭What.Name: Kyle Swornhield
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Occupation: None
Position in Trial Defendant
Appearance: A good=looking dark-haired man, 5'10" (178 cm) tall. His clothing style tends to be preppie and his hair is short, straight and immaculate. His skin is fair and his eyes are blue. He's the Hollywood leading man type...and yet lacks substance, so would be more likely to end up playing a villain or a comedy lead.
Bio: A sometime champion amateur tennis player and gambler, Kyle has never done anything professional with his life, always floating on his family's money and what he could gain from gambling with people like himself. He was successful for some years playing cards, but for the last five years he's been losing badly and thinking he could play his way out of his "losing streak". He's been floating himself on expectations of inheritance, using the great age of his grandmother to stave off his creditors. "She could drop dead any day, now," he'll say. And yet somehow she never did.
He always seems to be smirking...or panicking. He thinks he's smarter than he really is, and he's slow to figure out that he's in over his head, then he loses it and starts hyperventilating. His increasing mood swings are why he's become an increasingly bad card player.

Uhm...I'd like to try Judge, if you don't mind...
Name: James Staple
Age: 48
Gender: Male
Occupation: Judge
Position in Trial: Judge
Appearance: James is a serious, hard-faced man whose cold blue eyes bore into the person at the stand as if to see if he or she is telling the truth. Or the defence. He looms rather imposingly in the courtroom, although he is not really that tall. He has naturally grey hair, and is by many called the Steel Judge because of this. He has very wide shoulders and is muscularly built, and he has the court record for number of gavels tired out, both in total during his career and in one case. He always wears a very nice watch, a present from his wife.
Bio: James has never lied. Not once during his childhood, nor through all of his life. He sees lies as an excuse to cover ones weaknesses, which he finds cowardly. This lead him to pursue an education in ethics and law, and he had a seven-year period as a prosecutor, burning away lies with his icy stare.
However, he got tired of seeing judges be swayed by clever lawyers and manipulating witnesses. Instead, he became a judge, rising quickly due to his earlier career. Now he has been a fearsome judge for fifteen years, and he relishes in his role.
Outside of the courtroom, he is more laid-back. He is actually quite nice despite his scary looks. He likes to watch sports on TV or watch a good movie with his wife. They have been married for twelve years, and they have two teenage children. He is something of a strict father, but they are a happy family.
Quirks/Special Abilities: Can distinctly judge anything to be Good or Evil. Will always pay very close attention to the person speaking at the time, trying to catch them in a lie. It can be quite intimidating.

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia! You know, I like both of them~ But, you need to use a little more description. Kyle doesn't really have a paragraph in appearance, so could you elaborate? What do you mean by his hair being "immaculate"? Is it straight and always combed over perfectly? Is it slightly wavy, but still always in the right spot? What do you mean by "preppie" clothing? Be specific! Is he tanned, or pale as a ghost? From your description, he might was well have translucent skin! What color is his eyes? Is he a broad-shouldered, muscular man? Or maybe he's more wimpy? Or is he more "average", with a little muscle from working out every so often, but not body-builder style? Is he a hairy man, or not? Facial hair? Does he have Perma-Stubble, or is he clean shaven?
And his bio needs to be two paragraphs, so you're missing one. Your first is a good start, but you should elaborate on his personality. That sentence "He always seems to be smirking... or panicking." is better put in the bio, and then you should elaborate on his personality. Is his smirks arrogant, in an "I can beat you!" way? Or more sarcastic? How does he treat his friends?
@Lemurian, Hmmm... Nice! I'd like to ask, though, that you add just a little more to the bio- it looks... wimpy. Maybe explain why he feels the way he does about lies? How long was he a prosecutor? Is he married? How does he treat people outside the courtroom? Other than that, accepted! ^_^
Hey! Read my fanfic: HereUnderstood. I'll flesh it out! Thank you! But for how long he was a prosecutor is already there...

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Hmm. Bluh. Looks like I was a bit too late to get either attorney spot.
If that tentative spot for the defense attorney turns out to be open and you don't mind that I think the only character I have any idea for would turn out to be...kind of more like AA's prosecutors than the usual heroic defense attorney (i.e.: probably something of a jackass), then I'd like to give that a go.
And then just a question purely out of curiosity... If this RP wound up going on past this one case, would there be different attorneys and stuff?
"People are calling me stupid on the internet."@Pravid, Why don't you go ahead and give me a profile? We should start soon anyway, and Rhyme hasn't edited her profile yet, so you two can square off as I decide which character is better. ^_^
Hey! Read my fanfic: Here

Okay, so I've been dying for an Ace-Attorney universe game. I'll plan the cases, and maybe play the judge(though I'd rather not do that. XP), but all the characters would be played by you guys~ We might just need to do one case, though- but would anyone be interested?
Just in case, the positions would be-
Defense Attorney: Alexandra Shields(Rhyme Beat)
Defense Aide: Open(Techinically...)
Prosecutor:Abraham K. Adabra AKA "Z" (slowzombie)
Prosecutor's Aide: Jae P. Opals(Me)
Judge: James Staple(Lemurian)
Detective: Luke Locere (Deadbeatloser22)
Witnesses: There will need be two or three of these, though you'd need to check with me as to what details about the case would be important.
Of note: Fran Chevailer(Me)
Barney Tend(Rhyme Beat)
Jack O' Spades(Liirian)
Defendant:Kyle Swornhield(Nobody Much)
Optionally: Private I(Hired by Kyle):Alex the Uber Ninja(Liirian)
Police Chief:
Police Officers:
Baliff:
Not sure how many people will want to do this, but if I get more interest I'll post the basics of the case for reference.
