Yes, I ostensibly fail, except I actually don't fail, because I was referring specifically to the phrase "packing heat", which is a slang/jargon phrase that I'm not familiar with (either its usage or origins).

And your not knowing the phrase is why you fail.

I mean seriously, I'm all sheltered and everything and I know it.

I'm kinda curious how you never encountered the phrase before.

Back on topic, how do y'all see me?

Wow. That's the longest response for a lame joke I've seen.

colin: I imagine you as a man in his upper 20's with slightly thinning brownish-blonde hair.

No, I've definitely encountered the phrase before, it's just that I haven't seen it in enough contexts to be able to infer its meaning.

Ostensibly out of curiosity, I'd like to ask how you think I look.

Not actually back.

THREAD RESURRECTION!

I was inspired by a topic at another board I went to, where you posted pictures of how you visualized the other members. I wanted to start a thread about that here, but I see there was already a tread of the sort.

So I'll just resurrect this one with a slightly different focus. Instead of describing, I'll just post a link to a picture of who I think of with different tropers.

Disclamer: All in good fun. Don't get too upset over my, or anybody else's choices.

It's hard for me to imagine Nornagest ever getting that angry. Oh well. The Made Of Meat one seems appropriate, for sure.

Very fun. Is there one for me, or has my posting of photos ruined that?

Some writing.

I still think of you as Spirited Kamina Cap.

And seconding Norn. I think a facepalm would be more likely.

More I just don't know you well enough to get any sort of fun mental image, sorry to say.

Anybody else with odd pictures/photos of fellow tropers?

I think of vandro as a talkative Panamanian Rorsach. And of Oscredwin as Dr. Freeze.

Your first avatar was Rorsach. Plus you come as off as very chatty to me.

Probably because you're talkative, Panamanian, and used a Rorschach avatar?
