Sooo, I just got this month's issue of Nintendo Power. In their downloadable games section, they give yet more coverage to Sonic 4 when they could be giving coverage to other promising Wii Ware games like La-Mulana. Seriously, this is the second month in a row they've given coverage of it!
Discover the rest as the game progresses.A couple new screenshots of the Lost Labyrinth Zone, and some discussion of the mechanics in each level, such as the torches in the Lost Labyrinth Zone.
One part mentions a part in the Lost Labyrinth Zone where water rises and a moving wall tries to crush you, (sounds awfully familiar...
) but aside from a few descriptions of the level designs, there's really nothing new.

Discover the rest as the game progresses.Isn't that the bit with the minecart that they removed for everything but the iPhone version because we could see the Scrappy Mechanic coming from here?
I wonder if we can pit those two bases againts each other inside a gladiator arena, arm them all with flamethrowers and see if anyone survives...
Sonic hates SOPAThat's what the entire Sonic fanbase has been doing for the last ten to fifteen years. Metaphorically. Most of us are tired of it by now.
Back on topic...
Here's a new video and preview of Lost Labyrinth, courtesy of IGN.

New screenshots has been released on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Care to share your thoughts? Personally, I'm wondering when the game will be "released".
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Lots of those screens have familiar looking sections in them... Well, as long as it's not all too much recycled level design and rather the occasinoal throwback to earlier games, looks good.
Sonic hates SOPANot yet.
Anyway: Another Iizuka Interview by Digital Chumps.
This concerns both Sonic Colors and Sonic The Hedgehog 4.
Your thoughts? For me, it's mostly alright. I certainly learned something new from this. One part concerning Sonic 4 simply bugs me:
Takashi Iizuka: I think there were an misunderstanding here, what I tried to say was classic Sonic series would not use those actions that were featured in ‘Sonic Rush’ series and which is for example activating boost by charging up the gauge and push button… I believe instant execrations by gimmicks like booster are important elements to keep the better game pacing.
Well... as far as the 2D games are concerned, I can't exactly say that I agree, Mr. Iizuka.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Yeah, there were some boosters here and there, and some zones usre had a lot more than others (Cheimcal Plant in Sonic2 for one has a section with springs speeding you down back and forth) but for the most part, you'd find a good long "runway" or spindash down a hill. And loops! A well timed jump in those 2D loops was a great way to get more speed!
Sonic hates SOPAIndeed you would. But it makes many players feel like the level is trying to babysit you through. Though I accept them if the ledge with the high ramp is on an hard to reach area you could easily fall off from when trying to jump there, as hitting the ramp would send you speeding down. The booster stops you from falling and doesn't add an extra wall on the ledge.
No, I do not recall seeing this kind of thing, just thought up of a potential excuse to have a booster near a high ramp thats easy to spindash upwards from.

How about when Mario had red overalls and a different, almost thai skintone?
