Isn't this trope supposed to be about like, red hair discrimination? Not just a smaller Evil Redhead? I'm sure we could do better than this picture.

Why would we pick Annie? She's not an example of this trope at all. She's not an evil step child. It's not just about having red hair.

A "red-headed stepchild" is not evil. They are unloved and mistreated. e.g. "beaten like a red-headed stepchild"...

Isn't Little Orphan Annie the Trope Maker? Is there an image of her being mistreated/excluded/otherwise demonstrating the trope?

Yeah... the old thread had one of her being denied cake and ice cream that all the other orphan children got.

I thought it was decided.
