Not just because of the motion control. The design is just ingenious. That giant A button in the middle is in such an intuitive position that it greatly simplifies gameplay, especially since developers are encouraged to stick to mostly use that one button. Making the Control Stick a wired attachment makes it easier to position it wherever you feel most comfortable rather than fumble around trying to reach it. And of course, the NES-style sideways arrangement is a nice alternative option although it doesn't feel quite as comfortable as the old controller. It's such a versatile setup that offers so many possibilities.

And the nunchuck can help in the control scheme. The remote is a bit heavy though.

The wiimote and nunchuck are a great controlling duo, but I'd like the nunchuck to have a longer cord or be wirelessly synced (one thing PS Move got right).

Also it never ceases to annoy me that the Classic Controller doesn't wirelessly connect directly to the console. I'd say a Game Cube Wave Bird would be a better option, but many if not most Classic Controller games aren't compatible with the GC controller.
