That Lufia Remake on the DS (Spoilers Within!)

Lufia II has been remade on the DS, and I have tried it up until Tanbel Mine II.

So what do my fellow Tropers have to say about this game?

My thoughts:

• Way to go, Gades. Announce yourself so early like that. Give away the surprise, why doncha?
  • Is there something awesome I could get if I beat Gades right there?
• Energy Cores EVERYWHERE.
• Phantom Fish is still as bad-tasting as ever.
• Lexis sure looks like that Doc.
• Tia's redesign is hot and Maxim is sorta nuts to pass her up.
  • Then again, Selan's redesign looks great too.
• Some of the platforming in this game is Rage(TM) inducing. Needs more Reset checkpoints.
• I miss Bart, looks like Berty got a girlfriend. Still buying bombs from the same crappy arms dealer though.
• Egg Dragon's in the well in Elcid this time!
