Yeah, there's definitely a connection there and I'm interested in seeing it.
I actually realized almost as soon as I saw the new OP that Ling would turn into a Homunculus - the OP shows him with a Philosopher's Stone in his mouth. Way to spoil it, guys.
Envy's animation in the last few episodes is freaking awesome and Nightmare Fuel-errific all at the same time. It's obviously done using CG, and so fluid it's really freaky.

The person in the opening, with a Philosopher's Stone in his mouth, is not Ling... It's Kimbley. Although there is ALSO a shot of Ling with the other homunculi in the beginning of the new opening, so yeah.
29 has the Xingese catfight, Knox's Moment of Awesome, a Ling scene that wasn't made too clear in the manga, and the leadup to one of the most anticipated parts of the story. More ending song transition too, nice (it lasted for quite a while — to the point there was another scene after the credits).
Annoyingly, FU Nimation has started to put ads in the middle of the episode now. And they all seem to be for COVERGIRL. Seriously? Wrong demographic much?
Wha? They were fine yesterday. Unless you're talking about the episodes posted on Youtube. That was annoying in my Slayers liveblog.-_-
Their video player shows ads three time during the video, and they're all the same Cover Girl ad. It started some time this week. Maybe it's only in Canada, since Cidolfas is apparently also Canadian.
Anyway, the episode was alright. They really like doing the ending cue thing.

I guess it is.Because I like watching things legally when possible and don't like changing translations halfway through? I actually don't think it would bug me nearly as much if they had more variety in terms of ads.
Also, they were there when I watched the latest episode, but they weren't there on the two episodes of Darker Than Black I watched today.
I guess it is.It'd be weird if it was only Canada... but meh. And yes, I am referring to the actual FU Nimation site, and I also much prefer to watch the videos legally with an official translation.

There's some backstory you have yet to see about Father & Hoenheim.
