I try my best to set up ambushes but that either ends with me defending the intelligence uselessly for three minutes or getting bored and dying anyways.
But I did do something awesome today. I stopped a soldier from advancing up the back stairs on ctf_doublecross with my colleague. I was a medic. He was a spy.
Pyro doesn't actually have the DPS to succeed in ambush encounters right now, although there are a few things that one can do as a pyro in that setting. But, pyros are pretty good at hovering around a friendly group, reflecting back projectile fire and generally acting as a sort of fire support.

My latest liveblog.I'm more amused at the special delivery pack.
I am the milkman. My milk is delicious. Special delivery today! It's fortified with what the world wants... what the world deserves.
My latest liveblog. They're proper new items, or will be. The latest TF 2 blog even made a joke about how they had to come up with appropriate stats for the various new weapons.
I'm guessing the Soldier's new primary slows him down but does more damage. The new milk bottle probably increases damage and the Short Stop has less range but crits in the back. The Powerjack looks like a sapper to me. The Sydney Sleeper probably immobilizes, which is crazy. But it also probably does no damage.
Oh man, the Batallion's Backup is A PORTABLE AMMO DISPENSER!
Is there any way to fix the FPS drop without buying a new comp? I really need your help, guys!

And the Steam forums would rip themselves apart again.
Half-Life: Dual Nature, a crossover story of reasonably sized proportions.I was the one who wanted some advice earlier about some FPS-drop problem on my ancient comp, but the issue solved itself: lat night I was able to play normally. I don't know, maybe I should've restarted TF 2 before playing that one time, or god knows what was wrong. Point is: I can play again! :-)

I fondly remember the time I was dominated by the entire Red team.

Weeeeellll I died a lot today. Tried to be useful but didn't get much done. But that's how you learn, right?
Heavy's a bit slow for me but I use him when necessary. Pyro's my favorite (even though he's a very advanced class) so I use him when the other roles are filled. But usually I'm a Medic.
