You're just in time for season 3 to debut this week too.

The only problem with Season 3 is that I'm not sure if it's being fast tracked from America cause it might be late in Aus here. Same thing went with Season 2 where it finished off only a month before the DVD came out.

Besides I finally saw Jack Black's episode.

and let's not forget ABED IS BATMAN!!

I'm in AU too, it takes too long to air here so for now I've been seeking 'alternative' digital 'distibution' 'services'

HERE IN AMERICA, WE CALL THAT PIRATING.

OH SHUT IT.

I'm sure everyone here has pirated one or more movie/show/game once in a while.

Besides season three looks great with John Goodman and that guy from The Wire (One wonders how they got him).

It's not that it's definitely interesting how they got John Goodman

But The Wire is a very serious and big show and for a comedy series like Community it's surprising to me they could get one of the actors from to appear

Especially with Community's ratings being crap, it having been continually snubbed by the Emmys, and only staying on because NBC's in the crapper right now.

I personally think he did it in exchange for a guest spot on 30 Rock. Celebs flock to that one for some reason.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

Great article, I agreed with most of it. The more gimmicky the show gets the more predictable it will be, and it's nice to see that Jeff will be getting a Character Development arc moreso than the "very important lesson about friendship that will be forgotten next week" sort of thing we've had for the past two years.

Also, John Goodman will be a recurring character. I don't know how the fuck they managed that nor do I care.

Okay, so, just watched the premiere. They did a much better job tying everything up in one episode than they did last year, and I like what looks like will be the running subplot of Greendale going broke. (Anyone else think that's a meta reference and the show's budget's been cut?)

Also, awesome Blackadder and Doctor Who Shout-Outs.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

Inspector Spacetime For The Win!

I am so hoping they make actual mini-episodes of IS and include them on the DVD. Sort of like how they did a Kickpuncher comic book.

Good ep. I laughed quite a few times and it seems like they're setting up a lot of arcs which is cool. Apparently Season 2 had barely any planning with the episodes which explains why a few episodes felt really rushed and not as good as the others so it should be nice to see how a Community season will be when there's lots of planning involved.

Oh god, the 2001ASpaceOddyssey part completely tore me apart. That was amazing.

Great episode, I think.

Actually, I believe Dan Harmon says he never plans individual character arcs at all, he just lets them happen. So while I think they may plan out more episodes, they may not plan any of the character arcs in them.

Kudos to Inspector Spacetime for slipping in a Brigadier expy rather than taking the easy route of parodying the screaming female companion that people seem to think are so common.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.
