Maybe I should play something else instead. I just wanted to take a short peek and now 6 hours of my life are gone. Screw it, I didn't have that much fun in months.
And after two rough weeks where I barely managed to hit the target I finally finish with a nice surplus. The girls are annoying though, they have a very low budget and as soon as you sell more expensive stuff they'll only waste your time.
The housewives on the other hand always try to haggle at least one time regardless of how low you start, at least that's my impression.

you pretty much have to sell low to all your customers like around 103~110% so you can increase their reputation with you
You'll notice a heart emoticon when it levels up, and when it does they can buy more expensive stuff. I got the loli girl to buy around 4k worth of items when she leveld up once.
Life is like AIDS, its sexually transmitted, has no cure and it is ultimately fatalIt doesn't help if the Random Number God decides half your stock falls in value while food doubles... and everyone and their dog dumps their "Family Heirlooms" of food on you.
It gets even worse after that spoiler.
I didn't realize this the first time around, but it seems like the thing to do if a payment is due today and there's no way you'll be able to afford it is to spend all your money at the Market and Merchant's Guild; since you'll be able to keep the items, and you'll lose the money if you fail anyway, it's probably best to make sure you have as little liquid pix on hand as possible when that does happen. (Powerful Antivenom and Red Oil, though liquids, are also acceptable.)

Are my yuri goggles on too tight or does it seem like there's quite a bit of Les Yay between Recette and Tear?
Maybe it's the fact that my yuri goggles completely stopped functioning about eight months ago, but really don't see it.
Unrelated: Prime is a goddamned cheapskate.
Also unrelated: I can't quite determine how price fluctuations affect how much someone is willing to pay for an item. It seems to be +/- 50% or so. Is that consistent with anyone else's experience?
It seems more like +100% to -50%, actually. If there's a price increase, I can generally get a bit above 200%.
Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here.Even better. I wish I had been keeping better track of that kind of thing myself, but between customers sometimes having a limited amount of money, and different personalities between each archetype, I decided it was too much of a pain.
I have a pretty good feel for it now, but that's probably the majority of the game's learning curve, in the end.
At merchant level 13, I can get upwards of 280% when there's an increase in something. I wouldn't go out of my way to test that if you haven't built up trust with your customers yet. It may just be safest to up the price to about 260% and stop. I've found that even little girls will almost always buy on the first try when the price has increased on something.
Is it just me or is adventuring completely pointless? Some of the fusion items are nice but farming the materials is not really worth the trouble. And items in chests - even in higher level dungeons - are almost always rubbish.
The writing and translation are brilliant. Andrew Dice mentioned Ted Woolsey was his inspiration for getting into the localization business, and he has certainly learned well from his hero. "Yaypperoni!"
I don't think Prime will buy anything for over 100% at the first level of reputation. I haven't tried underselling to her because I'm not even sure if it's possible to bump her reputation up (she's your rival's servant after all).
I suck at adventuring, because I keep misjudging... everything. Number of food items to take, movement speed of slimes, radius of Louie's sword slash, schedule of the Adventurer's Guild...
Good to know that you can keep items and level through loops. I'm kinda stuck on the second week, despite my desperate attempts to rely on the popularity and high profit margins of Summer Sandals.

^The trick is to exploit the days where item prices increase. Each play-through, buy as many highly expensive items as you can in a variety of categories. It tends to pay off.
I've gotten fairly good at adventuring, though I'm having troubles with Charme. Her health is too low, the armor she can equip is awful, and her reach is a pain to work with. I'm hoping that woman with the lance will be better.
I really like Charme because she has speed, and have somewhat easy invulnerable moves. Her dash at the start, 2nd skill, and her parry system. As long as one is attentive you can block range attacks like Loiue dodge melee and get behind with her dash and a escape mech with her 2nd skill.
heck her 3rd skill immobilizes mobs which is always good.
oh, and her 1st skill is a good DPS skill. Crab boss fell over showing his weak point? Spam first skill (I think the max is 5) and hit for MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF DAMAGE.
The only thing I don't like about her is her short range, although I have overcome that on most monters, I'm still weary about the tentacles that leech life. Figures Japan would do this, make an awesome woman only weakness to be tentacles.....

Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here.I prefer Charme to Louie because of her faster attack speed which will get especially useful later on when those tentacle monsters are upgraded and much faster. Charme's Goddamn Bats are the bees. Bees. My God.
Hmm, after playing Louie, Charme feels like playing on hard mode. She seems to be worse than him in every way but movement speed, plus she's lower level than the areas that it's worth going to. Is it worth wasting my time using her or should I just stick to Louie?

I would stick with Louie for the most part. I can provide Charme with high-end equipment, so I use her just for the convenience of having that sprint ability, but that isn't going to be possible when you're first able to hire her, so at that level Louie's higher health and defense is probably a safer bet.

That picture really made my day.
*Also hopes to get it as a gift*
Oh well, I could invest in getting it next month.
