Oh god, I love Fukuda so much now. He's the ULTIMATE problem solver.
Also happy to see that poor Kitami isn't treated as a villain. You really have to feel sorry for her.
Also, I started imagining Shishigawa (Fat Otaku guy who started the whole mess) with a Douchy Mc Nitpick voice. Although, I feel really sick knowing that this really is how Voice Actor relationships are treated in Japan.

A corpse should be left well enough alone...You mean man. XDDDD
But I believe that Fukuda's action is a lot better; a well-known mangaka that voices his opinion on this matter and does it so directly and well expressed that it'll give him more credence doing it on the radio rather than post it on the internet, since the otakus on the networks will likely be taken as nothing more than some kind of "troll post" or someone trying to pass for Fukuda and thus they'll think of him as some kind of annonymous loser.

I didn't say "Girl", I said "Giri" XD, as in his Giri Road Racer manga (that I really want to read irl, like the vast majority of things in this manga)

I belive it's a societal thing in Japan involving die hard Otakus. I have heard that stuff like this has actually happened in real life. In Western Countries, Voice Actor relationships are treated with alot more respect.
To put it simply, western fans are cynical and like publicity no metter if good or bad (bad may often be even better )
Japanese fans in other hand are desilusional and want their idol be their own property.
Of course it can't be applied for everyone (probably not even bigger part)
That is shorter and better explanation

I think it's a bit more complicated than that. Plenty of popular female voice actors are married, after all. Sometimes to other actors. I think it has more to do with her age and the kinds of characters she plays. I can't quite articulate this, but I think there's a feeling that this retroactively makes all the virginal and pure characters she's played become "lies". As if there was something "honest" about acting in the first place. The fans feel like they've been lied to, in terms of a voice not being what they thought it was.
I don't really agree with this, but that's the impression I get.
If you want a good comparison, try our Disney Stars who've fallen off the wagon, only to a worse extreme.

Hurray, Fukuda! He's always my favorite character when he's being awesome like this.
