Let's all moan at one another about how sucky we feel. It can't hurt worse than our sinuses already do!

I've got a runny/stuffy nose and a sore throat to match. I woke up this morning feeling unusually better about it than I had been, thinking, "Hey! Maybe it blew over already...!" Ha. As if. Being able to talk sure would be nice.

Going tomorrow for a short surgical procedure under general anesthetic (which will be followed by at least a couple weeks of recovery). Eh...this is not gonna be fun.
Join my forum game!for some very odd reason i never seem to catch* a cold/flu if i do it lasts not longer than three days does that mean i have very good immune system?.

I'm no expert, so don't quote me on this, but colds are actually (I think) thought to be the immune system overreacting to a harmless virus. I vaguely recall that getting a lot of colds whilst young can be a sign of a good immune system doing its job. Flu is an entirely different matter.
My personal whinge: I have an odd bug or something, involving no congestion or coughing, but an irritating sore throat, stiffness, lethargy, light-headedness, nagging headaches, especially when concentrating, and dizziness when standing up. Not pleasant.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.My sinuses are completely clogged, and the headache that comes with it.
I ate a burger at Outback yesterday, and now I'm pretty tired, not terribly hungry and incredibly thirsty. Oh, and I've vomited at least five times in the last twelve hours.
Peace is the only battle worth waging. Is it wise for me to get any heat insurance? My temp job is done for the year and I am longer covered by my parents insurance. My parents told about the insurance and they were right, I need some coverage if I am going to survive. Can anyone tell of any places that I can get insurance and what is the deadline?
"Fan, a Mega Man character."Within two days, my whole family caught this really bad strain of the flu. I was supposed to have class today, but I didn't show up because I was going to the bathroom every few minutes.
I feel a little better, but I'm definitely not out of the woods.
So far, all I've been able to do is drink water. I ate Jello and it came back up. The same thing happened when I drank 7-UP.
"The three rules of the librarians of time and space: silence; books must be returned on time; no interfering with the nature of causality."I suspect that I may have a slight case of mono. I get fatigued at the slightest hint of physical exertion - I'm bushed after just doing some vacuuming just now - and there's been occasional headaches, pressure in my head, and intestinal discomfort (no vomiting or diarrhea though, thank God). Going to go by the clinic later and get looked at.
And if I do have mono, well, I haven't been kissing (or sharing dishes/utensils/toothbrushes with) anyone, so I didn't even get to have fun catching it.
Somehow you know that the time is right.

Ear infection.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else
