Let's all moan at one another about how sucky we feel. It can't hurt worse than our sinuses already do!

I've got a runny/stuffy nose and a sore throat to match. I woke up this morning feeling unusually better about it than I had been, thinking, "Hey! Maybe it blew over already...!" Ha. As if. Being able to talk sure would be nice.

Heh. Sore throat, snot running out of my right nostril in a river, splitting headache and sleep deprivation.
Typical spring day in Scotland, so it is. Can't figure out if it is the flu, double pneumonia or the bubonic plague.
At least paracetamol does a reasonable job of making the symptoms less shitty.
I'm not sure this cold is on the same timetable I've been used to. I had two or three days of runny/sneezy nose, and then a cough and sore throat. Now I'm just on the cough, which I consider the cleanup stage, but it's been less than a week, cleanup usually only takes a few days, and these colds usually run closer to two weeks than one.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI don't think I've had a debilitating illness since I was in elementary school, just gotten sick enough it's probably best for me to avoid infecting others. On Friday I turned down a request to double my work shift because they needed someone to cover the snack bar and I said it wasn't a good idea because I was sick. On Sunday, I was still sick, but I worked my scheduled shift in the snack bar. The difference is that on Friday my nose was wet and messy but on Sunday I was just coughing, and I kept that to a minimum with a cough suppressant. Still probably shouldn't have been working with food, but I'm dreadfully short on hours right now, and I took extra gloving precautions.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI just feel run down in general. My head hurts, my neck, knees, and back hurt, I have a stuffy/runny nose that doesn't seem to be going away, and I feel cold all the time. I seem to be tired all the time, too. I wonder if I have wonky-menstrual-cycle related anemia? Anyway, sorry to whine, but no one in my family seems to care how I feel, so my "online family" gets to hear it instead.
Just went to an Ear, Nose, and Throat clinic and found I have severe nasal polyps in my right nostril to the point that it is completely blocked with no airway. I was given an antibiotic and an oral steroid; I go back to see him in ten days and if that didn't fix it he is going to discuss with me other options to remove them and fix my allergy problem.
My allergies came back with a vengeance. They made an annoying dry feeling in my throat.
More than half of the assclowns from class (myself included) have been suffering from colds since the 2nd week of October. Adding insult to injury, I'm now bedridden (I guess) because of some ~mysterious~ migraine, don't know whether it's because of the flu, a heat stroke, or a fever.
At least I'm having my semestral break rn so I could just lie around all day while surfing the interwebs. Classy.
