I was gonna suggest Cowboy Bebop, but then I noticed that Suzumiya Haruhi was on that list. Check that out. It's really cool. Don't get too into the hype, though - it'll probably destroy the show for you. Nothing can live up to the godlike expectations the praise would give you.

Well when I saw Suzumiya Haruhi 2009, I assumed he'd already seen the first airing in 2006.

Oh I'm stupid.

Actually if it's the new season, never mind, see something else. Alternately, skip episodes, like, four to eight.

Concerning Endless Eight, watch the first, second and last ones. That's more than enough to "appreciate" it.

Actually, Ive read all the novels and love Haruhi. It is what got me into Anime after all. What I havent watched is the second season, because I want to marathon all 8 endless eight episodes in a row.

Do I need anything to watch Code Geass or Cowboy Bebop (18+, company, youtube, etc)?

Dunno about Cowboy Bebop. I haven't seen it.

Code Geass doesn't need anything IMO.

^^Agreed. One of the best dubs ever made in the history of English dubbing. I've never heard the original audio, but I have no idea how it could be as good.

Code Geass is pretty much plug-and-play, but make sure not to take it too seriously. There'll be far too many Wall Banger moments in R2 if you do.

This may be the first time in history that an Latino/Spaniard watches an English Dub of a Japanese Cartoon.

Continuing to read Kampfer. I'm actually rather enjoying it. It's proving to be far more engaging then anything with that much Fanservice has any right to be. The characters are interesting and the plot seems well crafted, simple yet elegant.

Code Geass and Cowboy Bebop are both very good, but I'll throw down a recommendation for Full Metal Panic, one of my favorite series.

Though really, I'd say you should go check out the Fate Stay Night Visual Novel.

Yes. You really should. If only as prep for the imminent Unlimited Blade Works movie.

Regarding Full Metal Panic, be aware that series Genre Shifts into something completely different between the first and second seasons. It can be kind of jarring if you're not expecting it.

Watch Cowboy Bebop, ignore Code Trainwreck.

Hey, Code Geass was good. I still don't quite understand why everyone thought R2 was a trainwreck.

I blame Executive Meddling, but I didn't let that affect my enjoyment of the show.

Where can I find Cowboy Bebop in English? Where can I find the F/SN Visual Novel for download?

The FSN VN is quite easily found. However, you'll need the translation patch from Mirrormoon, and installing it isn't the most intuitive process in the world. There are also a couple of nifty patches for it that adds the voices and the new illustrations from the PS 2 version. Ask in the FSN thread if you need help.
