I thought Lactose Intolerance was curable.
I was a dumb child.
For the record, it's not and anyone who tells you otherwise is either a liar, an idiot, or extremely misinformed.
Read Pokemon Ultimate EmeraldI thought Skunk Fu! was a sequel/spin-off to Kung Fu Panda and that the Panda master guy was an older Po.

A combination of this and the "Personal One-Mario Limit" thread. For a long time when I was a kid, whenever I heard the word "aurora" (without the additional names "borealis" and "australis"), I would automatically think of the leading lady from Sleeping Beauty, and hearing the word "aerial" made me think of the eponymous Little Mermaid thanks to how it's pronounced. ^_^;;
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered! There was a sampler program on one of the Math Blaster games I had when I was a kid that was hosted by a weird professor/mad scientist-looking guy. Because of his red hair and glasses, I was convinced that he was the adult version of Chuckie.
And another thing: he scared the ever-living daylights out of me. His voice, how he was constantly stopping to chuckle or giggle for no adequately explained reason, and even pressed his face against the screen meant that whenever I loaded up the sampler program I would mash the everliving daylights out of the space-bar in order to skip the intro with him.
"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."I'm not sure how many times I've seen a hearse and mistaken it for a limousine...
Thousand Dreamers, Watashi wa Saikyo, and Believe slap so hard.I used to think that a supercomputer was a regular computer... with a bunch of science fiction-style toys (like lava lamps and plasma globes) attached to and surrounding it, so it would look like a Weird Science-style Rube Goldberg Device.
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!I used to think that all Traffic Lights were controlled by one guy in some sort of central control room.
Read Pokemon Ultimate EmeraldThere's an episode of Alphablocks where A is allergic to cats. I freaked out, because I love cats and my name has two A's in it. I thought that having A's in my name meant I was gonna become allergic to cats.
For every low there is a high.I thought when people said "don't drink and drive" they meant you couldn't drink anything while driving. (being a little kid, I never questioned why this would be the case.) One day my dad started drinking a Coke while driving and I was like "Hey!, don't drink and drive!'. He then laughed and explained what the phrase really meant.
I mean, you probably shouldn't drink non-alcoholic beverages and drive for the same reason you shouldn't text and drive.
Also I too believed the second one and the Onnett stage in Smash baffles me for that reason.

I have a very similar story.
I first noticed the phrase “don’t drink and drive” on a paper bag in my school when I was in kindergarten. One day, when I went with my parents to a nearby city, I suddenly said about my dad, “He’s drinking and driving!” My mom then said, “It’s okay to drink a pop and drive,” and told me about alcoholic beverages.
The "car middle pain wash" one reminds me of a story my mother told me.
When she and her brother (so, naturally, my uncle) were kids, he hadn't learnt to read yet, but he apparently assumed that a big sign across the street had his name on it. Actually, his name is Lubin and the sign said, "Hydra"— not even close!

I think in the original Earth Bound they actually had the English release change it to "Shop" in some places but not others.
I started watching the obscure and underrated Christian cartoon Little Dogs on the Prairie when I was three years old. When one character mistakingly thought that someone else was carrying a grudge, I thought they were talking about carrying a garage! I imagined those two characters each carrying my grandparents’ garage (which is in their backyard and not attached to the house) over their backs!
I used to think that Bill Clinton liked to sleep until noon a lot when his animated counterpart said so in “Citizen Kang.”
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!
