I usually love Carrie Underwood, but "See You Again" is so bloody BORING. Boring production, boring vocals, and Cliché Storm lyrics. It sounds like a cut from a really bad movie soundtrack.
All the more disappointing, since the two songs before it ("Blown Away" and "Two Black Cadillacs") were amazing.
I also like Skid Row (mainly the Slave to the Grind album), but that song falls under Guilty Pleasure territory for me. I love how Sebastian Bach makes a simple love ballad sound like the most epic romance story ever through his over-the-top delivery. Still, that song has probably given a lot of people the impression that they were just another silly Hair Metal band when they could actually kick some pretty serious ass.
I love The Beatles but, combining 19th-century religious kitsch and new-age mystical bullshit, Let it be is one of the vilest songs on earth.
That seems to me like an overly harsh way of looking at the song. I assume by the "religious kitsch" you mean the "mother Mary" part, well, I read somewhere that doesn't refer to Mary mother of Christ but to Paul's actual mother Mary, who died when he was young.
I find it interesting how people can always find a reason to hate a song even when it doesn't seem like it would be very high on the outrage meter. I mean, I can see why someone wouldn't like Let It Be, but I cant see how someone could call it "one of the vilest songs on earth".

"New age mystical bullshit"? Come on. It's pretty much just a gospel song, which there is nothing wrong with.
I like a lot of Brad Paisley's songs, and I think he's a good guitar player, but I really hate "Accidental Racist." In addition to the horrible lyrics and all the Unfortunate Implications, it's a slow and boring song that goes on for almost 6 minutes.
I don't think anyone likes "Accidental Racist". I avoided listening to it because of the backlash.
As I said, I hated "Then" the most among his singles. Total Cliché Storm ("And now you're my whole life / Now you're my whole world / And I just can't believe the way I feel about you, girl"). Boring boring boring.
Also, the Chicago station still had "Then" in heavy rotation the week its followup ("Welcome to the Future") was at #2, and wasn't playing "Welcome to the Future" at all. As a result, "Welcome to the Future" ended up falling from #2, thus ending an insanely long streak of #1 hits.
Blegh… You're Beautiful.
The arrangement and performance are alright, but holy crap, those lyrics accumulate to one of the tritest piles of romantic clichés I've ever heard. The chorus is incredibly uninspired and the entire second verse feels like filler.
Deep into that darkness, peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
But at least it gave us this:
It was actually hearing some of the other material off Back to Bedlam on a live DVD of his that convinced me to give the album a try. The 2-disc version has a live performance with it that has three songs not on that album, and I really like two of them, "Sugar Coated" and "Fall At Your Feet". I also really like "High" and "Wisemen".

One Fine Day by The Offspring, off their album "Conspiracy of One". There's just something about that song that i don't like; it's too choppy for me.
