The thing is, Miura cut that chapter for spoiling too much too early. How did fans find out about it?

Not quite. It's seen in the shadows in the chapter before the Missing Episode, looking exactly the same, so its appearance and role, at least, is canonical.
But if it isn't defeated, the Berserk world will continue to be crapsack, and that Miura quote I found (and which I wish I could find again) makes that seem unlikely to me. Since it's powered by Clap Your Hands If You Believe I think it'll be blown up in a Wishplosion or something similar; weird way to end a Dark Fantasy series, but I can't think of any other way to defeat something that poweful.

I'd thought about that possibility, too. Certainly it must be possible to Clap Your Hands If You Believe an Idea of Good into existence, right? Of course, given the setting, I doubt much of anyone in it believes in good...
Since there's apparently elf magic in this universe and Griffith's merged the whole place with the spirit realm, I'd say it's entirely possible that none of that is necessary, though I like the idea that killing a GodHand nets you his power.
I say whatever happens is all going to lead back to our good friend the Skull Knight. How did he end up like that anyway? The apostles and GodHand we have explanation for, but him? Not so much.
I don't think there's going to be an Idea Of Good that's separate from the Idea of Evil. My understanding is that the Idea Of Evil didn't come about because people felt the need to rationalize a source of evil, like the devil. Rather, they saw horrible stuff happening, and would say "all this must happen for a reason, there's a higher purpose behind this." The Idea Of Evil is essentially God, but it's the sort of god you end up with if you try to rationalize a higher purpose behind everything that happens in a Crapsack World like they live in.
If the world were better, they'd have a better god too, but the Idea Of Evil probably acts to keep things bad. It's Clap Your Hands If You Believe meets Self-Fulfilling Prophecy.

...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.Hmm.
According to Merriam-Webster,
the word "casque" refers to a piece of armor for the head or a helmet; or an anatomical structure suggestive of a helmet (such as the horny outgrowth on the head of a cassowary).
Apparently, "casque" comes from the old french "cask", which comes from the old Spanish "casko" which, to me at least, sounds a lot like "Caska".
Also, seeing as how Griffith is most often shown wearing a distinctive bird helmet, and later as Phemt/Femt/Femto his head has an anatomical structure suggestive of a helmet; it seems that Miura is pulling an elaborate linguistic joke on the reader.

It is said the elemental Lords rival the God Hand in Power.
So, is there a "good" afterlife in the Berserk 'verse? At the end of the first arc, we see an undeniably positive character in Hell. Now, that could be explained by the fact that that character had rebelled against the Apostles and Godhand... except that same arc reveals Apostles go to Hell when they die, too. If there is a good afterlife, how do you get into it?

So far... nope. It seems everyone goes to hell to suffer for eternity (Or at least until you lose your individuaity in that soup of souls). Irrevocably.
