If we're changing this image, which is a good idea, I suggest this
◊.
It's a single frame, but it does show a character escaping from a situation, while mooks fire their weapons into a cloud of smoke he has left behind. Which seems to reflect the trope. Although it does have a watermark.
Why does that matter?
edit: btw, they are aiming at Batman, not the cloud of smoke, can tell from the bullet trails in the high-res image.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Oh, well, I'm not sure the smoke-bomb-vanish ruse has to work to count as Smoke Out. But, okay, yes that weakens it. Also, I do see the jetpack possibility. Could be better.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Possible image. Got other screen shots from the same episode:
Is that The Cape? It's rather ugly.
The Batman one does look nicer, but I agree that it does look ambiguous.
Yes, it was Series. The Cape. Very ugly compared to what I though it was going to be.
Fight smart, not fair.

Nominations for replacement images:

One look at the image, and you will agree. The text, especially, looks terrible in that size. Additionally, it's not really the best example, though I do admit a comic strip is a good way to show the trope.
I suggest we take the last three panels and arrange them vertically.
