Well lets see if this is acceptable.

  • Pilot Name: Colette Fortescue
  • Callsign/Title: The Violet Chevalier
  • Side: Centauri
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: 26
  • Appearance: Waist lenght curly blond hair, serious looking green eyes even though she looks younger than she really is. Wears a sword on her left hip and a gun on the other. Her clothing usually goes form purple to the color of red wine, always bearing the sigil of her house, a shield.
  • Personality: Serious, disciplined, and extremelly loyal if not to the Emperor to what he represents. Colette is quite proud of her heritage and her archievements, she tries to be fair and to live by a strict code of honour. She's the kind of hard headed person that would rather die than break even one law on which she has built her life, unless it's her lord's will that she does so.
  • Backstory or other information: Born as the eldest daughter of an old house that got way too invested in pursuing the way of the knights, she was raised from quite a young age to be a soldier for the Confederacy. She took her teachings to heart, becoming a loyal soldier and seeking battle and active service without a rest. If her life was a bit lacking in the normal joys of life it more than made it off with the pride she could take in her work and how she lives her life.

  • Frame Model: FT-27-1 'Excalibur'
  • Armaments:
    • Beam saber
    • Modified Arm-mounted energy shield unit
    • Mid-range, high-penetration beam rifle
  • Appearance: Unchanged from the basic Excalibur model except for a purple paint job and the coat of arms of the Fortescue family.
  • Size: Standard (18 m)
  • Upgrades/Customization: Colette's Excalibur was outfitted with a modified shield unit which allows her to change the size of the proyected shield, allowing her to make a smaller but more durable shield. It also allows her to pour more energy into it, reinforcing the shield for specially strong attacks by "bracing" for an impact.

Still, I'm happy that Earl has someone he can relate to on the team finally.

Yeah, I saw some overlap between both our characters, still she's the girl I wanted to play. I trust they won't seem so similar once I start R Ping.

If it's from the signup sheet, Earl has evovled into something resembling Dearka with [strong] hints of Kuudere.

I seriously need to watch at least ONE Gundam series...

I've never watched a full Gundam series, the first half of the original and 00 plus a decent bit of Seed and Wing from when I could catch the show when I was younger.

Great except for title. We have a major supporting character on the Centauri side with the surname Chevalier. So, yeah.

Otherwise, welcome, Daltar!

Can't we let it slide lock? The Purple Knight doesn't sound as well to me.

Besides it's just her title not even a surname.

Though of course I'll change it if you still don't like having two Chevaliers.

Also, I think that "Violet Chevalier" would sound more poetic, or maybe "Violet Vanguard" for alliteration points.

Recurring names shouldn't be a problem, we did have three Lees at one point! And we still have two of them... ._.

And to think I was this close to naming my character Lee as well.

I love Gundam, are you guys still active?

This isn't too much for an AMF is it? I honestly tried to trim it down from my mobile suit in a different RP, I would think limiting which weapons I could use when might give it verity.

We're definitely still active... Although we're in a beach episode so nothing's happening.

Also, we may have too many players, especially on the Federation side.

And that is the most insanely heavily armed mecha I have ever seen. O_o What's keeping it from becoming a God-Mode Sue?

Absolutely nothing. I'm using my right to bar you from entry based on failure to understand the kind of game we're running.

This is more like The08th MS Team than Gundam Seed. Please make change accordingly.

You think that's heavily armed? Did you ever watch Gundam SEED Destiny? Believe me when I say that is a lightly armed mech compared to some other RP Gundams. Regardless, I'll try to come up with something different.

Is a variable frame okay though?

We're less of Gundam and more of Gundamesque. Personally, I'd describe it as Gundam meets Armored Core meets Ace Combat meets Final Fantasy Tactics, but that's just me.

Edit: Also, we've already got a Transforming Mecha. So I'd assume so...

But keep it within reason, OK? You might want to look at one of the battles to see how the combat system works.

I need to see the equipment first.

And just because it's weak compared to something in a show does not by any means make it acceptable.

Choose well, we're going to be closing signups soon, and your ability to make both a good frame and character will determine whether you can play.
