Vriska actually said that there were multiple levels of God Tier, and that she had them all.

Wow. we're actually talking about the comic now! Yay! Now I won't have to lurk in the shadows like I usually do!

So, I've been wanting to say, isn't it strange that back when Volume 5 came out, Andrew said this one Formspring answer where he said that none of the music actually was made with a part of Homestuck in mind, yet, when you check, some of the songs actually seem to match up quite well with things, or, foreshadow something later in the comic.

For example, back when Vol.5 came out, we didn't know what Jade's planet was, and, from what we surmised by WV's drawings, it would be grassy with the volcano and stuff. Then, everyone was seemingly surprised when it turned out her land was covered in snow.

Yet, as shown by the song Snow Pollen, it was pretty much foreshadowing, what with it being a mix of Jade's them and all.

Just something I found interesting. I know there's several other songs on the albums that pretty much foreshadowed something in the comic.

So this threads going in a different direction I take it?

Nifty.

I for one, welcome our new G overlord.

^A lot about the process has changed since Volume 5. Some stuff was designed specifically with certain things in mind, I think.

[up][up] You're not taking into account the possibility that Hussie made minor things in the comic match some of the songs that had been made. Or even requested specific things in the songs.

I agree, this "on topicness" is a nice change of pace. *tips hat to Bobby*

I can't decide if I'm glad I missed the Vriska argument or not. But the important thing is, Hussie has obviously succeeded.

Hussie is back, working on MSPA. Not a flash or the EOA, fortunately or unfortunately.

I seem to recall Hussie saying that Volume 5 was also meant to represent Sburb and its various sessions throughout the eons as a whole. Can't remember the exact wording, but it was something to that extent.

I'm not sure, but I imagine sloppy makeouts would be involved somehow.

There'd be so much double crossing without rhyme or reason. Also, if she read his mind, I think she'd get a contact buzz from all the drinking. That's probably how mind reading works.

She can read minds too. Equius felt her poking around in his mind. Before the robo-smack. And she made frequent references to reading Tavros' mind and finding it lacking.

And even then it's more of a possession situation than mind control, or a super powerful suggestion to do something.

No, a suggestion is making someone want to do something, altering the way they think instead of what they think. Vriska's is more like a complete neural override.

This conversation. Reading Equius' mind makes him angry. You would not like him when he's angry.

And this was the result. Because you do not bite the hand that feeds you. Or at least built you an arm.

Edit: I don't think him noticing her mind reading him is related to void powers. Its an established fact that the higher you are on the hemospectrum, the more resistant you are to psychics. And Equius is a little higher than Vriska.

The psychic resistance thing seems to have a lot of variation in it, although we don't have many data points to work with. Aradia was immune to manipul8ion, and she's about as low as you can get without being Karkat.

[up][up] Well, he's STRONG enough to do some good damage but I don't think he's fast enough to keep up with Noir's teleporting.

[up] I figured that was because Aradia was just much more powerful at psychics than Vriska was. Similar reasoning, in addition to the duality thing, for Sollux. Sollux is also a pretty powerful psychic and Vriska can only control him half of the time. Tavros can only commune with animals. Its a versatile power but he's not a powerful psychic so he's psychic fodder for someone like Vriska. Terezi has her own thing going on that makes her immune. Feferi and Eridan would probably be largely immune and Equius was resistant. But like you said, its mostly conjecture and I don't think we'll get much more information on it at this point. I vaguely remember that Hussie mentioned that the hemospectrum was related to psychic resistance in formspring.

The absolute height of the hemospectrum, Feferi and the Empress, are actually so resistant that they would have survived the Vast Glub.
