We've been spoiled by the complexity of Homestuck, among other weird shit we probably have read/seen.
I mean, Inception was no Primer, that's for sure. I didn't need a notebook and the internet open while watching it the 4th time to figure out what the hell was going on.
Look, you can't make me speak in a logical, coherent, intelligent bananna. We get weird space time DEAD dream shit (and stuff). Not much can compare.

It was a pretty good movie. It made me go read the graphic novels.
Forever liveblogging the Avengersthe movie was entertaining but felt kind of rushed.
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterWell, the movie had to incorporate sixish volumes into one movie. There was some compression. Some dialogue cut because the Japanese twins they hired didn't speak English. Stuff like that.
And the word comic always put me in mind of the more magazine format comic with the twenty pages or so. I didn't realize the term graphic novel was pretentious.

Does that mean I can start acting like I feel better than everyone? I've been looking for an excuse to start acting all smug.
A lot of the movie's changes were based on notes from O'Malley and stuff he considered doing but decided not to. The amp vs amp battle was supposedly one of those things.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersI've been using 'graphic novelist' as the title of what I want to be when I grow up for a couple of years now.
It is my dream to one day join the ranks of David Lillie and he can take me on as his comic book apprentice in the majestic castle of his home-made publishing company, and we will bring on a new age of media.

Black Swan? True Grit?
The King's Speech...eh, probably about the same. Certainly not bad, but I can understand the Hype Backlash it's facing. It was a finely crafted piece of Oscar bait, and they swallowed it whole.
Look, you can't make me speak in a logical, coherent, intelligent bananna.I don't even know if I've seen any movie recently that I really really liked.
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." TwitterDidn't see many movies last year. Was How To Train Your Dragon last year? It was better than Inception. Then again the concept of dragons alone would make something better than Inception...
I know Thor was this year...
Was Iron Man 2 last year?

Yeah, that kinda bugs me two. And man, I was REALLY hoping to think some more. As it stands, it was mostly a decent action/drama flick with a rather unique plot hook. So yeah. But I REALLY wanted it two try and confuse me more. I was dissappoint.
