I'll bet that cat is mind controlling John. It all makes sense now.
[delurk] @thespacephantom: skip this, it's loaded with spoilers.
Let's see if i got this straight, and if i can speculate correctly thanks to the information given to us.
Due to paradox space and whatnot, things can happen simultaneously even though in theory, one should have happened after the other. This is briefly explained here
by Doc.
Thus, the time that the Green Sun explodes at is obfuscated because as mentioned by Rose and Dave on the first conversation about the Green Sun, time becomes strange as you near the it (also, paradox space). If I'm reading this right (although considering all the weird shit that keeps happening, i can always be wrong) its effects may occur long after or long before the explosion itself. All of what Doc has been saying recently lead me to believe that "past" and "future" are ocurring simultaneously, converging at an important part in the "present". Kinda like Osamu Tezuka's Phoenix, I guess.
The two battles of the two Heroines of Light agaisnt Jack occur simultaneously, or rather, since we're seeing things from Doc's perspective, they occur simultaneously, but we're just getting to Vriska's part. Even Doc is forced to speculate on the outcome of Vriska's fight with Jack, so it's entirely possible that the fight could go either way, even though Rose lost to Jack and thus the possibility of her losing is slightly higher. This
and this
occur simultaneously due to the circumstances. So does this
and this
, and probably over half of the comic's callbacks and running gags and things of the sort. Hell, I just realized that when Doc said he warned his neophyte to not stare into that ball, he meant both Rose and Terezi. Rose into the white ball, and Terezi into the sun. He also referred to the "Seer" losing the duel, and both Rose and Terezi lose theirs.
This should be basic at this point. In fact, I can say with complete certainty that an avid Homestuck fan understands more complex stories more easily due to dealing with them on a day-to-day basis. Getting exposed to so many Guns and Foreshadowing makes you notice them more easily. When so many hints are given to us, the story almost becomes Fair Play Whodunnit, only with a bit less emphasis on mystery: One can correctly guess the events that are about to occur, who will die next, who did what, how he did it and most importantly, WHY. So I feel perfectly confident when I say that if we put all our heads together, we can figure out what's going to happen in the immediate future of this comic. So I'm going to brainstorm heavily for a while, and anyone can join in and help if they want.
I'm gonna post some things here that have been or probably will be important, mainly because I need to get this straight and also because I really wished i had a whiteboard IRL.
- Gamzee watching the countdown reach zero.
- Aradia reaching the Green Sun.
- The tumor being delivered to Derse.
- The bloodstained wallet the Tumor was in, which eventually is obtained by Jack, who puts it in Cal, which is thrown at a doomed Aradiabot, who gets smashed by a meteor into the past, to be discovered by Aradia's alpha timeline past self.
- Doomed timelines - Gamzee killing everybody - Karkat and Terezi responding to their past selves - Karkat and Terezi's dead bodies - what happens? Are Karkat and Terezi still alive? Are they responding to the past from dream bubbles? Is the current scenario a doomed timeline?? Is someone else using their accounts to respond to the past???
- Lord English arriving to the troll's universe.
- Doc Scratch dying in order to help his employer.
- Snowman dying means the universe will end
- Nine minutes to 8.
Snowman dies in 9 minutes, ending the universe, bringing forth Lord English???
- Lord English himself. "He is already here." Well, if thats true then one character up until now becomes Lord English. I am only assuming this because I doubt Hussie will introduce Lord English as a new character, although I wouldn't put it past him.
- Who becomes English? Jack? Becnoir? Gamzee? How, if at all??
- What becomes of the Tumor? Is it used to destroy the Green Sun or does something else come of it? Since Rose's dreamself is still alive, the plan may yet go as planned, since Aradia will help her.
- If things are to collide in the "present", does this mean that there will be a flash showing how Becnoir is sent to the troll universe, the troll universe ending because of Jack killing Snowman, the Scratch taking place or anything of the sort? Maybe it will be the end of ACT 6?
Man, I needed to get that off my chest. I'm still not sure of what will happen. Any ideas, anyone? Next time, I should really post less.

hasn't it been stated that WV is to kill Bec Noir so he's still around in the future?
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." Twitteroh ok. well I guess we just have to see how that one turns out, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was for BN
"Never let the truth get in the way of a good story." Twitter@thespacephantom: fyi, it takes a lot of work to make SBaHJ look that bad
.
There is another forumspring post that goes into how SBaHJ relates to the main plot, but there are parts of it that are quite spoiler-ific. Suffice it to say that he randomly makes a SBaHJ without thinking too much about the future of the main plot, but then the ideas that went into the SBaHJ comic come back and he works them into the story.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Eh, I worked out a doodle of Equius and Nepeta being disgustingly adorable children. And then I found this
◊ and proceeded to giggle to myself for the next three minutes.

@ Crinias: You're wrong
Things aren't happening simultaneously, what Doc meant is that everything that has, is and will happen is mirroring something else that has, is or will happen somewhere else in either the alpha timeline or one of the doomed timelines
Basically everything is a reference to something sometime, in short paradox space is in a Stable Time Loop
The Green Sun on the other hand, like everything in the Furthest Ring is atemporal
Thing are not occurring simultaneously, is just that everything that could happen already has in a way somewhere
Basically what Dave says here
is how things work in paradox space
Also whether the plan to blow up the Green Sun is successful or even if it's actually put into motion is not clear yet
