I read somewhere...that we're defining Heroic Death wrong. We take the phrase "heroic death" and have attached our own meanings from them. I think we need to look at EXACTLY what Scratch said about God Tier deaths, in, at least on the Heroic end, he had to fight a corrupted enemy (check) over a just cause (debatable). That's it. Doesn't matter if he was oneshotted by a teleport spamming omnipotent dog.
Digimon Digital Liveblog by Myself! Yay!On a less controversial note. I was searching the other day, and found that Radiation's Facebook Page
has the first 40 seconds of Nautical Nightmare - Denizen Flavor, if you want to hear it.
Someone pester him for the full version. Since it's like Dupliblaze Comagma in that he's got better songs for the Denizens now, it's probably okay.

I don't know. The end of act 4 is a great place to end it with the intention of making a sequel, but I really don't see a way to have it stand on it's own.
The only way I could see it working is if you rework it to the point that it would be merged with Hivebent and have the game progress normally. In other words, no Jack Noir, Jade entering the medium like in Act 5, the Black King as the final boss, etc.
Rewatching everything online, it finally sunk in. Yes, the kids were in for some real hurt when the final prototyping happened. Yes, they're doomed. But I finally know in my heart that they're totally screwed. If it seems like it's a synonym that's alright, but it just has more oomph behind the situation now. Guardians are dead. Sprites are gone. John is dead (apparently). The trolls are dying off. Our only hope lies in Jade, her plan, and the scratch.* And I'm sure, if he was alive, Eridan would've killed that.
*Obviously Jadesprite doesn't count as any source of relief or hope. What a freakin useless First Guardian sprite.

How are we getting the 'Heroic Death' wrong when all we're doing is debating the legitimacy of his cause as just. The way I see it, John was doing the right thing for the wrong reason. That's not heroic. I've barely seen anyone mention how he was killed being important at all. You could have a bridge fall on you and still die a heroic death, so long as you're doing the right thing for the right reason.
Oh, and John CANT be dead. He talks to Karkat later.

Hay, self-esteem isn't just for pathetic wigglers. Its also for people who write all over their walls about how lame they are and then repress it.
Forever liveblogging the Avengers

(Yes I know it's not that simple)
