M-me neither.
By the way, I changed from my previous Homestuck wallpapers to these.
@Dr Psyche: I might try Steven Universe wallpapers at some point. I just can't have all the wallpapers I want simultaneously :<
Got a few videos for y'all: an Heir of Grief cover, an 8-bit medley, and a mock-up dvd menu. Enjoy.
I had seen the first cover, but not the second one. Nice.
I must not have watched a DVD in years now. The screen should have something like a tiny smuppet show up in the corner after 60 seconds. When you select it, it snops the screen and you gain access to bonus SBAHJ features. They're all very shitty.
I love Heir of Grief so much.
I've been saying for years that Homestuck should have a DVD. I know comics on DVD aren't a new idea. Compiling a work of this nature into a bunch of books is far less practical (not that I haven't bought them all).
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Chixie is adorable.
I misread Zebruh's description as "alive girls are so strong... some guys are threatened by that, but he likes it a lot."
@Thrice Charming: Wait, comics have DV Ds?
Well, there goes the "That's Joey's trollsona silhouette" idea.
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.Ugh, Zebruh is a Nice Guy. He's gonna be fun to hate.
And, yeah, I know that Spider-Man (and possibly other comics) have DVD compilations. You hit the arrow buttons on your remote to turn the pages.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Attention starved weirdo who can't take criticism and creepy male feminist. Nice.
Crixie looks so cute.
He just feels like a stock character rather than anything Aaron Diaz like, especially because the criticism thing is for the other troll.

I mean, his name is "Codakk"...
In any case, I didn't post that for tumblr gossip, so let's not go there.

Oh God! Natural light!Damn, didn't see that in the name. Shit... you might be right.
And yeah, I'll delete that bit.
Codakk is really the only thing I can see there linking the two, although do note that I don't know or care much about Diaz and probably won't wade further into the Discourse.
I just don't see the bridge between "Strong female characters in a strictly Author Appeal way" and the troll, who is pretty much clearly only pretending to be egalitarian in a self-serving fashion, where either he just doesn't actually care or even holds the biases he's claiming to fight. (Or there's a chance that he is genuinely well-intentioned and means the egalitarian stuff but is just a complete fucking dumbass, and still self-centered.) Maybe there is actually a link there, but that is seriously 0/10 for presentation.
I mean Vriska is pretty much the main protagonist of late Homestuck but that doesn't mean Hussie is some kind of bigot, despite being on the record as wanting to marry her. (No, this isn't a serious point.)
In any case, I'm pretty confident that, considering there's nothing about criticism or content creation or constant hiatus with Codakk, the idea that this is based off of that one guy entirely is wrong. I can't conclusively say he has nothing to do with it, but if they were going to make a parody of Aaron Diaz, I would think it... would have more to do with him?
Personally, my money is on complete coincidence, or maybe somebody getting cheeky with the naming; the troll call bullets are pretty stock quotes of a good old internet troll archetype, yeah? Well, maybe not troll, but a particular brand of unpleasantness.

Let's kill this conversation before it even starts, so here's some cool shit at For Fans By Fans (I still don't know why they changed the name from WLF)
Oh, I legitimately couldn't tell.
Those both seem nice.
Also, the only guess I have as to why they changed the name from We Love Fine is that WLF is something that kinda sounds like it almost, but not quite, makes sense as a complete phrase. Which is a somewhat awkward place for a name to be, really.
Mostly does better things now. Key word mostly. Writes things, but you'll never find them. Or you can ask.Yeah, it seems like a branding thing tbh.
It's also really cool to see some of the HS stuff defictionalized. I always thought that a ton of stuff in the comic would make great toys.
The Mutie is adorable, and I'm seriously tempted to buy one.
Reaction Image RepositoryYeah, cross your fingers that it'll get back into stock soon.
Consorts are though
I wish they had arms though.

Is Aaron Diaz the guy with the cyborg Japanese waifu? I read a little bit of his comic (I genuinely don't remember what it's called) and thought it was absolutely insufferable.
The "generating unlimited power by making terrible adaptations of classic books, thus causing their dead authors to spin in their graves indefinitely" joke is pretty damn funny, though.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Yeah, that's him.
Oh God! Natural light!
I'm not crying
