Again, they cancelled Sym-Bionic Titan and the greenlit several different shows. That doesn't mean they replaced Sym-Bionic Titan with any one of those shows. It's not like they couldn't have canceled one of their reruns if they had needed to find a spot to air Problem Solvers.

@eudaemon: Most of the direct-to-video animated movies DC and Marvel have made recently would count more than that.
Yes seriously, this isn't only off-topic you literally sound like a bunch of five-year-olds.
Yes, but they cancelled SBT, and picked up several other shows that don't look particularly great. Plus, I don't see a high possibility of a merchandise line coming from Problem Solverz. Granted, because that show probably costs ~$5.00 to make, vs. the production costs of Titan, it's likely not as significant of an issue for that show. I'm mostly angered by the fact that we're losing an excellent narrative story, for what looks to be absolute crap, and not even because it wasn't well received, or AN Ything that we as fans could have dont to save it.
Related: Did Generator Rex even have any toys until it got a second season, because I don't recall seeing any until just recently. Same with Ben 10, but that was originally a much more kids-oriented show. If Titan is getting hit for not having a merch line, it seem a bit early for them to be making that call, especially if ratings were consistent with the other shows.

Nobody here, as far as I know, is arguing that Problem Solvers doesn't look like crap. But you can't just pick the first new series you see and claim it's a replacement. More than likely, if Cartoon Network considers any series a replacement for Titan, it's Green Lantern or Thundercats, an action cartoon for an action cartoon. By the same token, the success of an action show is more likely to be based on action figures than a comedy cartoon, which is why Adventure Time, which has no toy line and no one expressing interest in one, was renewed.
Yes, Generator Rex was renewed after the first episode. And Titan wasn't. I don't know if it was because Mattel had already expressed an interest in developing GR toys or what.
Totally agreed with you on both points. I'd assume that Thundercats or Green Lantern would be the "official" replacement for Titan, especially because merchandice with both of those series are basically guaranteed, and I'd assume the overall budgets are close.
I'm hoping that CN's Up Front follow up on the 31st gives us a little more information on the matter, and some more specific details on what sealed Titan's fate, rather than just the speculation that we've got right now.

Back in the days, it was Whatever Happened To Robot Jones, then some time later, it was Megas XLR, then recently it was Robotomy, and in just two weeks, it'll also be Sym Bionic Titan.
Cartoon Network, you don't have to rub your hate of robots in our faces.
I started to see the hateline of CN disliking robots after they got rid of Robot Jones and Mega XLR. Only question is, why did dexter survive provided that the show had robots in it?
And monkeys! Everyone loves monkeys and robots!
That hasn't been done before, right?!?

Gen Rex got renwed cuz of the Manof Action street cred.
And I liked Problem Olsverz.
Are we gonna get into a TF Animate vs Tf Prime type thing?
Let's make a TCG!The only way I can see it ending without being open ended is if they manage to fulfil a few key points in the next two episodes. I've only read the titles, and given the events of the last episode, this is where I'm think/hoping it'd go.
"The Steel Foe" seems to be referencing the Army's General Julius Steel. More than likely it also involves a weapon that they've constructed to defeat Titan from the debris of the warhead that the military gathered up in Tashy 497 before G3 cleared the place up.
With Titan currently out of action, due to Octus' death, and with Lance & Ilana being last seen with G3, there's a good possibility that they'll have to work together in this episode, since they're both often at odds with the military, and I'm assuming that neither one of them can stop Steel alone, and G3 & the Titan have never really been on opposing sides.
Also, this episode is the only place where it makes sense to reveal where G3's access to Galalunian technology came from, and possibly reveal the identity of the mysterious figure in Manus Armor from "The Fortress of Deception." If that mysterious figure is Lance's father, there's a good possibility that he would be able to repair / recreate Octus. Octus was built by the King, and he and Lance's father were close, in addition to Lance's father being one of Galaluna's brightest minds and the designer of the Manus Armor, Octus may have been a design he never completed before he vanished through the Rift Gate, that the King had been working on completing.
Working with G3, & Lance's Father would not only give them a way to revive Titan and defeat Steel, but they'd also have enough Galalunian weaponry to mount an attack, and assumedly, since Lance's Father helped develop the Rift Gate technology, he would also be able to provide them the opportunity to return home, and take back Galaluna in force, which would open up the logical content for "A Hero Returns." That episode would cover Titan coming back, and the final battle against Modula.
Since the series was planned as 20 episodes, it makes sense that is was designed with a conclusion in mind, even though it seems like a rather distant possibility at this point, with only 2 episodes left. Conceivably the series could have continued with Modula or the Mutraddi escaping, and continuing to attack Earth, and banding G3 and Titan together or something similiar, but if it's going to close things off, this is how I see it happening.
No idea if it'll play out that way, but it's the only thing that I can extrapolate based on the currently existing loose ends that need to be tied up, and the most logical order for that to take place in.

The Generator Rex toys started being revealed around...November, I think? So, yeah, second season. I guess it got more seasons before the first episode was released because the network liked what it saw? I honestly don't know why it got renewed again for season 3 (even though I'm a fan) because its viewership levels are consistently decreasing despite the plot getting better, as well as the Periphery Demographic's viewership is increasing while the target audience is decreasing.
Adventure Time doesn't have action figures, but a ton of merchandise directed at its Periphery Demographic. Go to Hot Topic's website, you'll see. And it's CN's most watched show, constantly ranking top on Monday nights.

@The video FAIL.
