SMT: Strange Journey gave me interesting details about mythological creatures, and I found new ones I haven't heard about.
^^ Seriously, the Pokedex entries have some of the most flowery language this side of gaming. =d

By the powers invested in me by tabloid-reading imbeciles, I pronounce you guilty of paedophilia!Seconding the Ace Attorney example. I've actually learned from Apollo Justice to look for some ticks when trying to talk with people, to see if they're unsure of or lying about something. This has actually worked fairly well for me. That, and it helped me out with debating (a bit).
Same with Age of Mythology and helping me learn about Greek, Roman, and Egyptian Mythology.
Also, when it doubt Go for the Eye!
Still need More Dakka, and it's about time to start a real WAAAAAGH.I learned a lot about Greek Mythology from Zeus Master Of Olympus.
...wait, why is that a red link?!

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!I learned from The World Ends With You that it doesn't really matter if you can't understand other people as that is impossible xD
Finally! A thread to explain why the heck I keep mentioning that game as having changed my life XD
Mass effect 2's sidequest with Mordin Solus made me finally realise where I stood on the Science Vs Ethics debate and where I stand in terms of Science Vs Culture. It was a really small dialogue piece but I ended up agreeing with Mordin and glad that I had taken my time and savoured that quest instead of just blitzing through and just skipping all of the dialogue.
I forgot about the Megaten games with Compendium's (although Persona 4 has one too). Strange Journey especially had a very informative one, mostly because it has more demons than any other megaten game.
Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft instead
For a kid's game, Pokemon was hitting the thesaurus pretty damn hard. Words I remember learning from the games: resuscitate, conscientious, vermilion/cerulean/celadon (etc.), and, recently, griseous.
