"Hitman Absolution follows Agent 47, a cold-blooded assassin, who takes on his most dangerous contract to date. Betrayed by those he once trusted — and now hunted by the police — he suddenly finds himself at the center of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a personal journey through a corrupt and twisted world."
So basically, like every Hitman game ever.
The Blood God's design consultant.Do you want it any other way?
Jonah FalconWait, hitman has a plot? I just murdered things.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?I want a nuke shaped like a pen.
The Blood God's design consultant.Really hope they encourage new ways of killing, though. I always got a little complacent in the murders...
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudSomething I always thought would be cool to see in a Hitman game, but I doubt anyone else would want, is that, before each contract, you're able to wander a small accessible area as a HUB where you could interact with certain characters to buy info on the target, purchase weapons and upgrades, test and hone your skills, learn new skills, etc.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.well they had:
The church farm in Hitman 2
The giant training facility in Hitman: Contracts
Blood Money was lame, the hideout was just some basement.
The training facility is by far the best "hub" area in a hitman game.
What if the next Hitman is open world?

The Blood God's design consultant.Hoo boy.
"It may sound as if the Hitman has become very easy, but it need not be. "One of the problems with old hitman game was that unless you were an expert in the game, would you look like a real little killer," says Tore Blystad. "This time it's not hard to be a good assassin. Instead, it's hard to keep the situation under control, and hold yourself back from going berserk. We'd rather try to tempt the stealthy players to go into a more action -oriented direction. "
"Here we see one of the first innovations in the game that probably will immediately get a mixed reception from the series' fans. For while Hitman sits in hiding behind a bookcase, the ambient colors suddenly dim, and the ushers will light up in a golden glow, so you can see their entire figure through walls and other obstacles. A bright line in the floor shows the route the nearest cop follows - with a direct path to Hitman. "

I... oh. That could make the game really easy, if I'm understanding correctly. Some kind of preternatural training wheels which tell you how enemies are going to move and let you see through walls? Uuuum...
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.Yeah, that's not good. 47 isn't psychic.
Basically, have everything like Blood Money except: More levels, better graphics, better game engine, more dialogue, better melee, and better AI. Do this and everyone will be happy.
Any changes to the formula is suspect at best.
The Blood God's design consultant.Personally, I just hope they don't penalize you for the shooty shooty bang route, if there's anything to insinuate for that.
Being stealthy is FUN, but sometimes, you need to murder an entire rogue Russian base with your M4.
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudI liked the idea of people seeing you and eye-witness reports from previous levels making people suspicious of you in later levels. I kinda wish you couldn't just buy them off though and just had to live with the added difficulty.
Not to mention it wouldn't matter to both stealthy players (who'd never get caught, anyway) and players who keep going on rampages.
Hmm... I just hope the non-linear actions are really Hitman-ish. This sounds more like the movie than the games. Not that's bad, mind you.
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudLong-time series composer Jesper Kyd will not be returning. The duo Peter Peter and Peter Kyed will be doing it.
Longtime 47's voice actor David Bateson will not be returning.
Series is over.
Okay...47 barely ever talked and his voice wasn't exactly memorable.
Not to everyone I spoke to.
Some people'd say the same about Master Chief, doesn't make his voice actor irreplaceable. It's not like getting rid of Solid Snake's voice actor. 47 barely says anything and when he does, his voice doesn't stick out from the crowd of voice actors.
Yeah. The only thing memorable is "I can do whatever I'm paid to".
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudI actually felt that 47's personality was never developed beyond "Machine like killer". I think that was intentional on part of the developers, but it makes parts of the game really boring.
Like, what does he need the money for besides buying new guns? Is he saving up to have a procedure that can save his life? Is he just a miser? Does he like killing for the sake of killing?
Answers damn it!
The Blood God's design consultant.Considering he donated all his money to the church once he thought he was "out" I think he just holds onto it all, just in case of...something.
I always felt that he WAS a literal killing machine.
Step 1: go kill someone for money
Step 2: ???
Step 3: go kill someone for money
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?Wasn't that the point? He's supposed to be some sort of super-assassin cloned into existence simply to take out people for money or something, right?
Yeah, and not to mention there was an incident where a good samiritan who thought he was a runaway buying him dinner (not knowing he just snapped another clone's neck for killing his pet rabbit).
47 thought he was getting rewarded for killing.
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudThe in game dialogue of Blood Money was painfully canned. I can accept 47 having a robotic voice, but everybody else...it was getting annoying.
I think the worst part was the santa from the Christmas mission, God that voiceacting was horrible.

The Blood God's design consultant.
So, is Solid Snake in this? Snake Plissken? Jack 'The Snake' Roberts?
Jonah Falcon
