I like the "Undefeatable Heart" from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

- Sleep - Dopesmoker (a 63-minute stoner anthem. I defy anyone to find a longer song)
- Metallica - Master of Puppets
- ...and dare I say it...Stairway to Heaven?

no one will notice that I changed thisI'd guess almost everything by Bal-Sagoth should qualify here. Your Mileage May Vary, though...

"I could eat a knob at night" - Karl Pilkington"Tuleen Ajettu Maa" by Moonsorrow.
Ooh, is that a song in Finnish? I'm always open to songs sung in Finnish! Thankyou!! *runs to You Tube*
Now.. epic songs. How exactly are we defining epic here? Is it power or length or complexity or emotion or what? Oh well, I'll be liberal and just sling a few down...
I'll say Bohemian Rhapsody as well (The live version is awesome!), and I'll second whoeer said Planet Hell. A lot of Nightwish songs could qualify- may I also put forward Wishmaster, with it's lovely guitar solo?
In terms of emotion and length, I'll nominate X Japan's Art of Life. I'll also pimp it out for anyone who has a spare half hour, because we need more X love in the world. Whee!
It's Monkey-Flanking Rhapsody,
bitch! A song so epic it didn't fit on a single video.

last.fm- Through the Fire and Flames by Dragon Force (Yeah, it's the only song I listen to by them and I know of it because of Guitar Hero)
- Defying Gravity from Wicked (I actually saw Wicked live and had goosebumps and my mouth was open in awe throughout the whole song)
- Dream On by Aerosmith (Probably my favorite song)
- Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (Given)
- Tribute by Tenacious D (I mean, c'mon, how can you not like this song?)
Also, Muse has a lot of epic songs, such as United States of Eurasia, Butterflies and Hurricanes, and Knights of Cydonia. Same with Metallica.

I hate "Epic."
As per the trope which pertains to musical theatre, I'd say The Ballad of Sweeney Todd, That's What He Said from Parade, Defying Gravity from Wicked, Another National Anthem from Assassins, and Find Your Grail from Spamalot.
Going with the trend in this thread, as in a song that is epic, Emerald Sword by Rhapsody.
