Double post: question: has it ever come out whether Silver was originally intended to have a connection to Team Rocket all the way back in the original gen 2 days?
I was just happening to listen to some HGSS music and it caught my attention that Silver's battle theme opening rift is very similar to the Rocket battle opening rift from the same games, just with an additional rift over it.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."
we don't really know, as outside of Silver having some beef with team rocket there wasn't any connections between them and it wasn't until Pokemon Adventures that made Giovanni his dad, after that FRLG made a mention that Giovanni's kid had Red hair in the post game on the Sevii Islands with HGSS later on confirming that the two are father and son.

After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. My one and only Fate servent. When Spinda is so awful of a Low-Tier Letdown your favourite Pokémon subcommunity 35 Pokes, known for giving folks like Carnivine and Tropius a chance to shine a bit, had to get rid of the alcoholic red panda for the sake of avoiding really dead roster slots.

"You can't spell 'Wario' without 'war'."Pandas are my favorite animal, so I was really glad when they made Pancham/Pangoro.
Bewear and Stufful are kinda Red Pandas aren't they? Only not red I guess.
Theyre a mix of red pandas and actual ursines, as a mix between a red panda, actual panda, a teddy bear, and a mascot. Its quite the curious creature and my favorite for generations now
I had a pretty good Spinda in Ruby. It had a lot of spots on the front!
The Protomen enhanced my life.![]()
The first Spinda I found in my Emerald save looked like it had a Solid Cartoon Facial Stubble. It was hideous.

Oo oo ah ahOne thought I had: what Pokemon region that has already been featured in a remake would you want to see be featured again in a new game for Generation 10?
For me, a tossup between Johto or Sinnoh. I'd like to see more Sinnoh Mega Evolutions, or perhaps more Johto Mega Evolutions and other new content with Whitney also becoming a Fairy type gym leader.
"So, what have you been up to lately?" - Lida![]()
Gen 3 baby. Its always one of the most beautiful and diverse regions next to Alola, having that with switch graphics would be delightful
As much as I'd like them to take a mulligan on Sinnoh remakes and do it right this time, I don't see that happening in the current development culture, so I'd rather they just not do remakes anymore period.
If they're going to re-explore past regions, they might as well do something different with them like the Legends sub-series is doing.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I gotta agree about remakes, if they were to continue BD/SP trend just doing the bare minimum, I think it would be better for them to just not bother.
I am interested in more Legends type game Pokemon Legends Celebi would get me hype as hell.
As I've said before, my ideal remake would be Wide-Open Sandbox-style remake of the first four generations (looking something like this
◊), with additional content from the Stadium and Ranger sub-series for good measure.
Depends. If we could get a Kanto sequel with Lillie as our rival or as a major supporting character again I'd be all up for revisiting it. Especially if, with years having passed in universe, there were enough changes to make it feel fresh.
Otherwise? I wouldn't say no to revisiting Hoenn, and, even though they haven't been featured in remakes, Alola, or Galar.

Well since our options are between Sinnoh, Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto. I’ll go over each one.
For Sinnoh, I’ve brought it up before but imagine a sequel to Legends Arceus focusing on the Grand Underground. Could be a way to bring in the Pokemon in Sinnoh’s regional Poke Dex that weren’t in Arceus like Houndour, Marill, etc.
I’d be fine with a content update to BDSP that adds the content from Platinum along with expanding the Sinnoh Dex even further than what Platinum did.
As for Hoenn, I’m reminded of this one fakemon artist on Instagram who alongside other artists made designs for a hypothetical Legends game set in Hoenn’s past
which could easily revolve around the Draconid people.
For Johto, if it were to get a second remake, just use HGSS as a base along with including the rest of the cross-generation evolutions.
Hell, I’ve also had the idea of a hypothetical Let’s Go Ursaluna and Togekiss where your starter would evolve at certain points in the story.
As for a new game, I remember bringing up an idea for a Legends game set in Johto’s past where the player’s actions result in changes seen in a Johto remake like new areas and improvements from the original and HGSS
Now for Kanto, I’d be completely fine with another visit there as long as they don’t force us to stick to the original 151. Like that insistence on making us stick to the original 151 made me disinterested in playing FRLG and Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee.

Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameTrying out the PvP of BDSP. It's weird that there isn't any restriction, so sometimes you run into a team witn an restricted, or team that violates species clause.

In your last paragraph, you say you’d want to stick to the original 151 in a new Kanto game, then say you were disinterested in FRLG and Let’s Go because you had to stick to them original 151. Did you mean to say you wouldn’t want to stick to them?
it’s “post your random poké-thoughts” time
i think the gen 10 games should establish that pokémon are common knowledge by now, and the professor should give the protagonist an assignment to write their own pokédex in a notebook or something. why should an accomplished scientist send a child to do his research work for him, know what i mean?
oh, is that so? i didn’t know; i didn’t play those games. but i did play legends arceus, so i imagine a good amount of humor can be derived from a child trying to write their own pokédex

hit me up on MSN messenger! ;DIs that the case? Like, Jacq is the one who made the Scarlet/Violet pokedex, right? I don't recall him needing to complete it? Likewise, it's just an app in Sword/Shield, right? Who was it that downloaded it again? I recall Hop giving you something, though that could be a false memory.
Anyways, random Poke-thought post; Doesn't Snover look like a moomin character? Like, with the "hat" and the round eyes and round body... Abomasnow is a bit too angry, but with round eyes and a closed mouth...
Read Otr of the Flame (She/Her)Random Poke-thoughts? Hmm...
The Nidoran lines DON'T need to be combined. The weirdness is that they don't have different names, but Pokemon like Tauros and Miltank are now considered "related" but they weren't combined.
...Do fix Nidorina and Nidoqueen's inability to breed, though.

It likely just released, so the answer is likely going to be a bit. (this is in context to someone asking if Hydreigon is in)
I also saw a "leak", aka the opening "choose your look" screen, and it was on the Switch 1, so I expect things to be datamined relatively soon.
