Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is out on NSO Expansion Pak on August 8th.
If anyone’s wondering, the absence of Blue Rescue Team is due to it being released for the DS, and dual-screen games are hard to rerelease on the single-screen Switch.
But yeah, still no mainline Pokémon games from the first three gens on NSO…maybe we’ll have better luck with the Switch 2.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!I am wrong on the date for the North American update for NSO version of Red Rescue Team. Nintendo of America's social media post on it also says August 9th.
I wonder if a Pokemon Presents will be presented next Friday.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."It still is kinda weird how Red Rescue Team is coming to NSO on August 9th in all regions when western Europe and North America usually get NSO updates the day before time zone wise.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I've been expecting an announcement tomorrow for a Tuesday, August 6th Pokémon Presents, so the fact that Mystery Dungeon is seemingly a Friday release (which is also a weird day for an NSO drop, since that's usually Tuesday-Thursday for the West) definitely catches me off guard.
EDIT:
I generally go for a theme whenever I play. When I first played ORAS, for example, I named all my Pokémon after types/brands of candy.

Do you guys think they'll use Z-A as an opportunity to give the Kalosian started some Megas?
Maybe? They're making a deal about bringing megas back, so I'd expect new ones, and the original reasoning for not giving Kalos mons megas doesn't matter here... but if they're following the PLA approach to starters the original Kalos trio won't be in the spotlight

I think a lot of people are curious, seeing as we don't really have much information on the game other than it takes place in Kalos. The first trailer didn't really have any gameplay to show, so we're pretty much left guessing.
I just hope that we don't get any Pokemon locked behind save bonuses, but I'm not holding my breath on that, considering Arceus locked Shaymin and Darkrai behind Pokémon Sword and Shield and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl respectively. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if, for example, Hoopa requires you to have save data from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."
Sure, Hoopa has nothing to do with Scarlet and Violet, but Shaymin has no more to do with Sword and Shield (not even being programmed into said games) and yet it’s obtained through a SwSh save data bonus in Legends: Arceus. And there were no Galar Pokémon or forms at all in PLA anyway, so they couldn’t have used the bonus for that. Who knows if there’ll be any Paldea mons or forms in Z–A.
Hoopa is also one of those few mythical mons who are plot relevant albeit in a very limited capacity since it's his rings that allow you to meet legendaries in the Hoenn remakes.
Hoping he gets to show up in ZA.

Arceus had every Mythical Pokemon that debuted in Generation IV in it, so I wouldn't be surprised if Z-A included all Mythical Pokemon that debuted in Generation VI. For what it's worth, all three of those Mythicals can be transferred to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, so I'm currently guessing that Z-A will have them all be obtainable.
It just wouldn't surprise me if you needed save data from other Pokemon games to unlock all of them, given Arceus locked two of their Mythicals behind other games' save data.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."As of June 30th, Sw Sh is at 26.35 million sold and SV is at 25.29 million sold.
According to Serebii, SV is the third and fastest games to hit the 25 million mark.

Hoopa strikes me as more mischievous than sinister unlike Pecharunt. So I think his villainy will be more akin to pranking fun than mind controlling a town to attack you.
But that said, I was reminded of that one edgy game that revealed Hoopa was the real main villain all along and pretending to be Arceus. Out of nowhere.
It was pretty funny. Order is mine.
