Pearl because I prefer more of its exclusives.
It's been 3000 yearsโฆPick pearl, Primal palkia looks better

Diamond.
Time control is cool so that's why I go with Dialga.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Diamond. Honchkrow and Dialga are cool. Also, Skuntank.
For Legends Arceus, it doesn't actually matter that much.
SoundCloudDiamond has the better version mascot but since this is about Legends Arceus both primals look goofy so go with whatever.
...So I had bit of an epiphany about Blaziken's design, so I had to put it into an image to show how weird Blaziken really isExplanation
I picked Pearl/Palkia since I like Irida, so I want to have her around, helping me.
For Legends, I went with Pearl because I wanted Dialga to be the one in the Origin Ball.
It's been discovered the the Genies' new signature moves bypass accuracy/evasion under rain. This doesn't apply to Enamorus's Springtide Storm, though, and their accuracy isn't lowered by sun.
Probably matters more for Doubles than Singles since these are spread moves with 80% accuracy normally, and Tornadus and Thundurus likely prefer the stronger single target Hurricane/Thunder in dedicated Singles rain teams. This is more of a buff to Landorus in Smogon formats, if anything, since Sandsear Storm has a decent Burn chance.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Well, that's horrifying. Wonder if it'll be enough to make brambleghast see some play
In a move surprising absolutely no-one (because this was one of the first things that people thought of when Tera was revealed), Regieleki has been banned from SV OU only days after the HOME update added it to the games. Tera Blast Ice gives it BoltBeam, which has been the gold standard for near-perfect coverage since Gen 1, while also removing its one and only Achilles' Heel, its total inability to handle Ground-types, which prevented it from being too overpowered in Gen 8. BoltBeam Eleki is so powerful that even the usual considerations about a Pokemon that's only good when Terastalized (reduces team flexibility by preordaining what you're going to Tera rather than being able to leave it open) settle in favor of "it's just that good and worth the sacrifice".
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.I think this has come up before, but Smogon still prefers single battles, yes?
Finally got the damn Chansey swarm after weeks of being trolled. Dream team of Compound Eyes Venonat, Frisk Stantler, and my beloved Pidgeot whom I taught Thief to for this very occasion helped me get the Lucky Egg :D Time to make the Johto level curve - and subsequently Red - my bitch

FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeThere were also Tera Water Elekis I think, since Rain helps it a bunch too.
Secret SignatureWon't be changing anytime soon.
You can play vgc formats on showdown just fine. But most of the community is focused on aingles.
Smogon also has their own Doubles format with a few different rules from VGC, but yeah they're mostly focused on Singles.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?NGL, I miss triples being a thing. Rotation, I never really got them, and they were attached at the hip with triples because Black and White had the weirdest approach to version exclusives, but, triples? Neat extra stuff.
This is why we need a Stadium-style game. If the mainline games are gonna ditch stuff between generations, having a game that includes all the Pokemon, all the moves, and all the battle formats (plus challenging singleplayer content and more robust multiplayer content) has an actual niche again now that "battles in 3D" are no longer an exclusive novelty. Even I'd buy that.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I miss Inverse Battles and Triple Battles. Rotation Battles, not all that much—
"Life's worth living, no matter how bad things get." /// (Avatar: Kotobuki Tsumugi)Still holding out hope that we get an Inverse stage setter one day.
โMy ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.โRotation battles were the best. Need to bring them back. Triples are too messy for me.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Rotation seems like a lateral move from singles. Except componding the stress facto becuase you know the opponent chould switch into two counters.
Tripl;es is better by viture of it working like Doubles, and therefore having its unqiue quirks like spread moves.
Diamond.
