Also Noibat/Noivern
And Druddigon
And Altaria
And Turtonator and Drampa
And Dragalge
And Tyrunt/Tyrantrum
And Alolan Exeggutor
And Applin/Flapple/Appletun
And Dracozolt
And Dracovish
And Duraladon
And that's not even counting the Megas that add a dragon typing like Mega Sceptile, Mega Ampharos or Mega Charizard X. Though for three stage lines, it seems to be mostly just the Trapinch, Seadra and Axew lines
So there are a decent amount of Non-Pseudo, Non-Legendary/UB Dragons out there

I'm having to learn to pay the price
Well, Druddigon was also Gen V. However, it's a one-stage, so it's probably its own category anyway.
Technically that would make Kingdra as the first 3 stage NP Dragon type line, Trapinch the first NP 3 stage Dragon type line released within a single generation and Axew the first three NP stage Dragon type line in which all members have the Dragon typing
And you got Homeboy Altaria just chillin
I'm having to learn to pay the priceVoltorb has nothing to be sorry about. Pikachu just got mad for no reason. What a bully!

Gary MF-ing Oak using Brave Bird? Why not!
On that topic, give Aerodactyl Brave Bird and Head Smash; if bats can use Brave Bird, the actual stem-bird has more of a reason to do it.
And Milotic some coverage! I'll even take just Psychic/Dazzling Gleam/Shadow Ball, at this rate!

That's a damn great observation dude.
Anyway, Dual Wingbeat is a great move, but, still plenty of stuff unable to visit the Isle of Armor.
And I still want Scorching Sands for Houndoom and Pyroar. And perhaps Salazzle, removing that move from her learnset didn't really do anything for balance.

Yeah, looking it up, Archeops indeed cannot learn Brave Bird. And it's not like a translation thing, Brave Bird in Japanese is just Bureibu Bado, it's meant to be Brave Bird. Maybe that is literally why Archeops can't learn it, it's too Defeatist (which in Japanese is "Yowaki", translating to Timid, which makes even more sense).

....alright. It's time to settle it:
Can Water Pokemon that don't have legs, and aren't part flying battle on land anyway?
I recall in early seasons of the anime, any attempt to use Goldeen away from water just had it flopping uselessly on the ground. That being said, it was able to move on the ground via hopping way back in that Pikachu's vacation short.
The games allow you to use any water pokemon anywhere despite the fact that fish should be at a massive disadvantage in the desert, and they pretty much always float.
What do you guys think? Maybe the ultimate aim of a Water-type trainer is to be able to battle anywhere with any type of Water Pokemon, despite terrain advantage.
One Strip! One Strip!Zubat learns Brave Bird via Egg Move and that thing definitely isn't a bird. Plus Archeops is probably closer to a bird than Zubat based on its inspiration.

Axew was the first unevolved Dragon to not be a pseudo, after all.
