Also, only 3 types have more resistances than Rock: Poison, Fire, and Steel. I think many of us would agree Rock should resist Electric, which would put Rock at 5 resistances, tied with Poison for 3rd most. I think that's plenty fine defensively.
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, or needlessly personal and obstinate. I'm inclined to believe the latter, because you've stated several times your idea is based on little more than personal preference.
Now that I've seen your edited post (that added personal attack that you edited back out):
I wasn't saying "fuck this guy" then. But if you're going to put those words in my mouth, the I'm saying it now. You are being needlessly personal and rude, and you won't even accept someone half agreeing with you, because you're being too insistent on something you know is because of your own failed memory of something that you should've noticed a decade ago. You're doing the exact opposite of making a legitimate argument in your favor, and just whining and making personal attacks when things don't go your way.
That may be fine for a president, but not for rational internet forum discourse regarding a children's game.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyIt's based both on feelings and logic!
- Ice, Rock, and Steel make up a trio of "hard material" Types represented by the original Regis.
- Ice and Steel resist themselves, so Rock should resist itself, too.
- Rock is too strong of an offensive Type and too weak of a defensive Type, so it should resist itself.
- A Type resisting itself is the default state, it should only be neutral if there is a good reason to do so, and there is no good reason for Rock not to resist itself that should not also apply to Ice and Steel.
When I play Pokemon, I always assume Pokemon resist their own types because the three starting types do. When they don't, it throws me off and I need to specifically remember the Type chart, and it makes logical sense for Rock to resist itself, so I always assume it's not one of those exceptions.

I edited it out as a way of acknowledging I was wrong and taking back what I said.
4. Types resisting themselves was the majority before Fairy was added, and it's still the state of more types than the ones that are neutral or weak, making it the default.

[Stop it - Septimus Heap]
So does anyone else have any thoughts regarding a Sound type? Like I stated last page, I'd disagree with making one, but I'd still like to see thoughts on it.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyI like sound-based moves being basically the special-attack moves for the Normal-type, since there's not many logical options for it besides "tri-elemental beam which should really be three other types at once" and "giant energy beam not based on martial arts or any elemental form of energy, apparently".

Apologies if I misunderstood your post, but for the Zarude distribution in the States, you need to have signed up for the Pokemon newsletter back in November. If you did, you get an email with a code for Zarude.
I got my code yesterday.

The sad, REAL American dichotomy
Sir, this is a Wendy's.
All jesting aside, I think there are about 5 mythicals that are readily available if you have a specific game
- Celebi (GSC VC port)
- Deoxys (ORAS)
- Keldeo (SWSH DLC)
- Magearna(SM via QR code)
- Jirachi (Colosseum Bonus disc for RSE, prolly the hardest to get to a modern game)

Yes, Genesect can be used in Sword and Shield. You'll need to transfer it from Home.

"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."So how do you thin the infamous Mew Truck rumor happened. Did the young players assume the game so minimalist that LOCOD was extremely prevalent? Was the truck so out of place that people thought it had to had a practical purpose beyond decoration, or was this just people not knowing that Mew was dummied out and assumed that there had to be a way to get it in game beyond glitches?
